@ridensuto you find the pearl divers in the New World under one of the harbor icons in the build menu. The island must have pearl fertility as well.

Alternately, you can use one of the specialists that can provide pearls as bonus supply. Sand mines, clay pits or, I think, even one of the glass/windowmaker specialists can generate pearls.

@asterix201252 Thanks for the links. I'll try that 20x lumberjack hut but I have my doubts. Right now I have docklands filling in any shortage.

@asterix201252 as to the lumberjack huts.... have you posted your layout (20!) anywhere? I'm curious as I haven't managed more than about 14 or 15 with my designs yet.

@asterix201252 I've tried it just this evening and I can confirm that I am not getting the same results as I do with the woodcutters/lumberjacks. I could only put 6 orchards in - that's about half of the woodcutters I can easily get into a TU area. (you say 20 in a TU area, eh? Gotta try that)

@colin1796 There is a setting in Game Options to hide the newspaper guy. Perhaps you have that feature set. The other option is to keep an eye on the left side of the screen where the newspaper archive is and when you see a "1" pop-up there, you have a few minutes (at normal speed) to click on it and adjust the settings and articles.

@ubi-nacho I've done this at least three times this evening. Stopping the auto-update seems to stop the upgrade/downgrade loop for the moment.

@ubistorm same issues here as the OP - already did what you suggested. There is a cycle that keeps happening, load the 2GB update, seems to work, shut down, reload ubiconnect, 400MB patch comes in and then no text issue, can't figure out what is being asked, exit the game, exit ubiconnect - next start and back to previous game update (11). restart cycle

Having the same issues. Performed multiple installs - the 2GB and the 400MB - shut down and restart Ubisoft Connect multiple times. No text, no way to play.
