The screen space reflection in my game is bugged, I've seen this as a problem occur with a few other people but cannot find a solution. This problem is only in Valhalla and doesn't occur in Odyssey or Origins.
Where an object meets the water from a certain distance the screen space reflected object becomes very noisy and pixelated. For example a pillar (could be anything that meets the water like the land/cliffs) that is partially submerged in the water 10 meters away, the pillar in the reflection is very pixelated and noisy. It also affects water in that where the water meets the horizon is also very pixelated and ruins the immersion as well as be very distracting.
SSR also does not behave as intended. For example, there's a torch on a post before the water, but in the water you can see the reflection of the fire in the water which does not make sense, and while that happens the previous problem also persists by being very pixelated/noisy.

- Downloaded newest patches
- RTX 2070 8GB
- Ryzen 7 3700x
- 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
- The game is installed on my 500Gb M.2 SSD
(Most of my settings are on very high, I'm playing on native 1080p 144hz, vsync off, anti-aliasing (low, medium, and high options do not affect the pixilation of the SSR)
In the end, I've disabled the SSR and it's a very weird thing to complain about but its really ruining my immersion and distracts me from actual gameplay. Hopefully a solution would be posted or Ubisoft will fix this bug as I've seen this happen to multiple people.
