Surroundings are black, sometimes you see colors or shades or varying degrees of black but half the time its just black with faint outlines. Have to constantly spam Odenview or torch. Esp difficult under water or detecting breakable walls. Have tried different settings on PS4 but no improvement.
we have no one handed swords yet can one hand a two handed sword with shield, that on its own is a play style being forced on us.
It is not forced. You do not have to dual wield. Sorry if you want to use 1h sword. I'd like a 2h hammer. They don't have those weapons available for play. Some people want other weapons, so how is that forced when you have options available ? Maybe not what you want, but there it is.

You are not being honest with what you're really angry about. Dual wielding is a play style utilized in many games in and out of genre. What is "fan boy garbage" ? The rest of your sentence is just crazy talk. Be specific.

This is not a game about realism. Seriously? The Animus isn't realism. The player character doesn't poop or pee, but we see other NPCs peeing. Doesn't change clothes. Doesn't have to sleep. Heals instantly. Where are the bags and bags slung about the character that hold all of the weapons, trinkets, gems, and armor? Are "Bags of Holding" realism, because that's what s/he must be using? What's the realism that all Danes speak English? So that just about negs your point about realism.
but yes we can duel wield two handers and they forget about the actual time period accurate one handed swords used by Vikings.
The game doesn't include a lot of things that are "time" period. And as a HEMA practitioner, there is literature that offers instruction in dual wielding 2h weapons.

Again, don't spend points to dual wield. Do you see NPCs doing it? Or are you just obsessed with telling other people how to play? Good Grief !
ACV reminds me more of AC: Origins vs AC: Odyssey. AC:Odyssey is almost like a different species in play style and feel. I read that many team members who worked on AC: Odyssey went on to Immortals Fenyx Rising while Montreal worked on ACV. I can on speculate that Immortals Fenyx Rising might offer a more similar feel to AC: Odyssey than ACV.
No. I'm not annoyed. Don't spend points in the 2h dual wield if you don't want it. Why try and force your play style on everyone else? This is, for the most part PvE, not PvP. Do you want to remove difficulty settings, too? You play the game you want, and let other people do the same.

Plenty of great fanfic and ideas are already out there. Take this idea, for example: Hire some interns scour the internet. Or better yet, hire some young people with fresh ideas or different POVs. Too much job insecurity, no one wants to being in fresh talent.
You'll have to excuse my frustration. I've spent the last few months trying to play 2 OwlCat/QuickSilver games that are still broken 2 months after release. The apologists kept saying that they weren't a big company like UBISOFT or Bethesda and not to expect as much. And then ACV released.
I really want to like this game, so I'm going to stop until they fix all of the quests and NPC interactions. I'm over 50hrs in and it's just not fun. I would like to play the game as its supposed to be, not work around non-interactive NPCs, quests, missing textures, or crashes.bug/ Many times I'm wondering if the puzzle I'm trying to solve is intentional, or is it a bug/glitch ?
Was this game not play tested on console ? It plays like an open beta. Games should be fun, we shouldn't have to soldier through your unfinished, unpolished product. Cyberpunk has been delayed again, but the wait is worth it vs playing something like this. I'm also canceling Immortals Fenyx Rising & Far Cry 6 pre-orders because I have no confidence in UBISOFT's ability to deliver on launch date. Where's the communication? UBISOFT will apologize for an ableist description and hotfix it, but they will not respond to issues not fixed by Patch 1.0.4 and the new performance problems the patch has generated for PS4 consoles.
And at some point maybe they'll get around to fixing Reda & the NPCs and Quest issues. People pay good money for your games and I think specific and timely communication isn't unwarranted when it comes to game issues. If the bar is set high its because you guys put it there.
