I can't believe my eyes that Ubisoft is doing Ghost Recon in the Free to Play version? Since the episode Wildlands, the game has been directed by Ghost War as PvP. That's enough for me.
Why Ghost Recon do free to play? That's the planned nonsense of XDefiant, which few will play.
Just yesterday, I wrote in support and gave them my feedback.
Ghost Recon should be such as Wildlands and Breakpoint. The Gear level system could include, but there should also be the option to turn off the Gear Level system as in Breakpoint.
But why isn't Breakpoint as good as Wildlands? It's because Wildlands was a little more realistic.
In short, robots and drones and futuristic things everywhere, Ghost Recon shouldn't be like that. It should be more realistic.
And when Ghost Recon is set to take place in the near future so that it has a line similar to the Future Soldier episode. I really enjoyed the Future Soldier episode because it was a nice Ghost Recon game in the right military style that this game should have.
Ghost Recon has a super open world. It just occurs to me that it's a little military. The game is action-packed, but it lacks a more military experience.
And they also cost few tactical options (realistic).
My opinion is like that. To make Ghost Recon more military, there should be a few things missing:
Military support works beautifully in games like Metal Gear Solid The Phantom Pain, SQUAD.
The problem is also in the AI team. Considering that there is one Sniper in GR: Breakpoint on the AI team. Why is it not possible to send him to a certain place, give him a command to observe the surroundings and mark the enemies. And at the right time to give him the order to fire?
Wildlands and Breakpoint take place on an almost identical island. And the island itself does not look much like a style where war should be used.
In Ghost Recon, I simply miss the African environment. I know it's a very controversial topic, but Ghost Recon even if in a fictional place, but that would be similar to Iraq or Afghanistan. This would be an environment full of tension, where I would expect it to be necessary to hide, the player would have to carry weapons hidden in his character. Or he would have to hide them in hiding places, in houses, etc.
The game would have a lot of pitfalls waiting for him, such as an ambush, an IED. The player would have to liberate territories that are occupied by terrorists.
Weapons, equipment, air / military support, the player would gradually and not quite easily unlock by completing many tasks and challenges. Or rescuing important people or documents.
But also by buying weapons and equipment.
And at that moment, a number of decisions would be made for the player.
Perform Black operations (illegal), even against Allied armies. For more money, but for more minus points that would be deducted from the trust that the allied army has in the player. And with large minus points, the number of enemies in the Allied ranks would increase.
Or to carry out legal operations commissioned only by the Allied armies, not to raise any money for their fulfillment. but for example trust or more support.
I would also consider whether to make the game in the third person or in the first person. Or whether it would be possible to switch between these view modes.
In short and well, make a Ghost Recon that will have a thrilling environment that will act as a war zone.
To make the Ghost Recon team really look like they are soldiers.
And don't make the game so arcade.
And I would put even more pressure on the focus on weapons, their behavior, their modification. Maybe I would also consider whether a WEIGHT SYSTEM would fit into the game, which would affect endurance, aiming, shooting, etc.
It's really not appropriate to do Ghost Recon in Free to Play mode, there are other games for that. And Ghost Recon already has a PvP mode called Ghost War. I do not agree with Ghost Recon Frontline.
Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in Bolivia. Ghost Recon Breakpoint takes place on the fictional island of Auroa, not far from Bolivia.
My suggestion is that the next part of the Ghost Recon game takes place in Afghanistan or at least a similar place, since it is a harsh environment. There is a desert, rocks, and at higher altitudes there are big winters and snow. There are also desert storms, strong winds, but also snow storms or heavy rains. It's a very fluid environment.
At the same time, since we won't see Mercenaries 3 game anymore. And in Mercenaries 2 game, it was very nice that the player could choose and call many types of airstrikes.
So I would like to give you a suggestion that in the next big Ghost Recon game, Ghost units should cooperate with the Army.
And they had the option of requesting an A-10 or AC-130 airstrike. Also artillery, Tomahawk missiles. Overflight of a combat helicopter or helicopters.
In short, similar types of airstrikes as were, for example, in World in Conflict.
I would also have a suggestion to make the game a bit more simulation.
For example, to make camouflage on clothing work in given environments.
For example:
Black and dark blue colored camouflage would be good in the dark and at night, but during the day or in the snow, the player would be more visible with this outfit.
Multicam camouflage would be more versatile.
Green colored camouflages would work well in grass and forests.
Desert camouflages, would work well on deserts, beaches and sand... ETC.
Furthermore, I would have a proposal to make it possible to fight on water and not only on ships. But to be able to dive and ambush enemies.
Also another suggestion to have more distinct military classes in the game. Sniper couldn't be CQB, CQB couldn't be Sniper. A sniper would rather look for places with a large field of view to be able to cover his unit or allies. Also so that the sniper can reveal enemy targets to his unit.
There are a lot of robots and drones in Ghost Recon Breakpoint and it makes the game more like science fiction. That was bad and a lot of players regretted it.
Yes, for example the Predator drone, which in GR Breakpoint was basically Azrael. It is real, either as a UAV or as a missile-armed drone.
This single drone was in GR: Breakpoint, basically the only real one.
Your games that are more realistic are much better than the ones that are more sci-fi.
I praise the developers for the game Far Cry 6. Finally, a Far Cry game where there are NO SNAKES, also where there is no unnecessary SKILL TREE. And the game is very nicely made and the world is interesting and huge. There is something different about each location or region and I like the game.
And now something that I would recommend that UBISOFT management focus on.
I was thinking of buying the game but I didn't know the necessary information. As a person with ophidiophobia - the fear of snakes, I have to be careful with UBISOFT's games in the last few years, because if there are snakes in the game, then the game is not for everyone, especially for people with this phobia. That's why I'm glad that Far Cry 6 is finally a game without snakes, and I also hope that other parts of Assassins Creed or Skull & Bones and other games. They will be free of snakes.
That complaint is about UBISOFT Technical Support. I asked them about the Far Cry 6 game, I needed to know if there were snakes in the game. They couldn't tell me if there were snakes in the game or not. They just wrote me their guesses, like it's an island so snakes are likely to be there.
Please, UBISOFT management, give technical support the information your customers may need.
Your support is not well informed.
Maybe it's your protection to keep information about your games from leaking, but if people are going to buy your games and people want to know about your games, your tech support should be able to answer their questions.
So please make games without snakes or add a setting to DISABLE/HIDE SNAKES in your game settings.
As snakes are completely unnecessary in your games.
Lucky it was Free Play Weekend for Far Cr 6 on Xbox. And I could try the game.
I bought the game today.
