When using the harpoon ability, the rope is no longer visible; the ability still works, but it looks like the target is being pulled by an invisible rope.
I'm on PS4 Pro, with a save file of 450+ hours. I'm not sure when the bug started happening, but I've found that the bug is not present when using an old save file from January 2021.
The weight stat in Valhalla is supposed to 'increase the amount of stamina consumed by dodging', but after a bit of testing, I've found that the number of consecutive dodges you can get out of a full stamina bar is always seven, regardless of whether you are fully equipped (i.e., all armour, cloak, bow and weapons slots full) or carrying no equipment at all (i.e., all slots empty). Even equipping the heaviest armour and carrying two Dane axes doesn't seem to make any difference - you always get seven dodges. And since removing all your equipment, giving a total weight reduction of around 70 or 80, doesn't do anything, I don't think a -1.5 rune is going to make a lot of difference...
@thannorubi Damn, you're right - I thought something seemed odd the last time I used a shield. Well, hopefully that means the crazy weapon sizes are a bug and will get fixed eventually...
So ever since Origins, we've had magical shrinking two-handed weapons that reduce in size when you sling them on your back. It's a bit weird, but you can see why Ubi have done it, to avoid graphics issues - at full size, a seven-foot spear is going to clip through the scenery every time the character walks through a doorway, or through the floor every time they crouch.
In Valhalla, however, the one-handed weapons shrink as well - and they look freakin' ridiculous. The warhammers look like they're from a Fisher Price tool belt, and the flails look like a tangerine tied to a Pixie Stick. What's more, they don't fit properly in Eivor's weapon belt (except for the daggers, which don't shrink); instead they just kind of float on Eivor's hip, inside the loop of the belt. Obviously it's not the biggest deal in the world, but one of the cool things about getting a new weapon is seeing it on the character outside of combat, and this pretty much ruins that (indeed, you can barely see the weapon at all).
The fact that the weapons don't fit the belt makes me think that this is a bug - like the shrinking effect is being accidentally applied to the one-handed weapons when it's only supposed to be applied to the two-handed ones. So, does anyone know if this is a bug? Or are we supposed to walk around looking like we've been raiding Bob the Builder's toolbox?
