Game has frozen for me several times now in side Ravensthorpe. I'm trying to do the egg hunt but have to manually save after each egg as I keep losing progess due to the freezing. I'm also on Xbox One.
@Ubi-Woofer @Ubi-Borealis Could you guys pretty please notify the devs of this? I've also tweeted Ubisoft Support. This is time limited and every day these crashes aren't fixed are days I can do the event less. Time is literally of the essence.
I can't even walk around in the Ostara area without freezing. Finally been able to gather the eggs from around Ravensthorpe, but every time i've entered the Ostara area my game freezes and then crashes within 1-2 min (usually within 40 sec - 1 min).
To @Ubi-Borealis, it's definitely related to the event, personally for me it seems to happen when I entered the Ostara area of Ravensthorpe beforehand. based upon this: I loaded into my save from yesterday where I was inside the longhouse and was able to get 6 eggs without problems. I had one left to do, I entered the Ostara area, and blam freeze. I reloaded, running out of the Ostara area, blam feeze. Reloaded again, but now I was not inside the Ostara area (like my initial loading this morning in the longhouse), no freeze. That's my experiences so far.
I also notice walking towards the Ostara area causes a small hickup when walking over any of the bridges, like Eivor is running into something. I saw some people mention it before too in this thread. Pretty weird.
And I notice walking around in Ravensthorpse it's also a bit laggy, normally it's 100% smooth. Maybe they're memory leaks?
@wrightwayup The only thing that could possibly be it in the 1.1.2 patch notes is: "Addressed various character or NPC animation issues"
To the mods. This is a pretty annoying bug, I'd say at least 2 or maybe even 3 out of 5 conversations have one of the characters (some times Eivor, some times the other) not moving his lips at all when speaking. When the camera switches to another person, and then back to that one, it is often fixed, as shown in all the videos linked in this thread. Exactly was is constantly happening to me on Xbox One.
So, I completed the Jorvik and Eurviscscire arcs. Recsige is dead, Halfdan is king. Eivor is member of the council together with Hjorr. The guards in Coppergate Market are gone as the Red Hand is gone from the city. Why is Coppergate Market still a distrust area?
There are several negative results to keeping the distrust area:
1) it breaks story immersion storywise
2) Eivor puts on her cloak, after which I have to manually take it off again every single time I pass through the area, which is also on the route between the harbor and the bridge connecting to the Royal Hall
3) When I do take off my cloak in the distrust area because there are no guards, random people start screaming about fleeing and other things. They don't actually flee, but they start screaming as if I just killed a guard.
Storywise and gameplay wise it's a lot nicer if the distrust area in Jorvik would be gone after the Red Hand is also completely gone and Eivor is a council member, so is allowed everywhere (Jorvik arc). It should definitely not be there after Halfdan becomes king, as with Recsige's death, all but every dark/bad figure is gone from Jorvik, and most definitely from Coppergate Market.
Thank you for listening to my plea!
@ubi-borealis As an answer to your question, my settlement was fully customized long before the 1.2.0 update. Every slot was customized with something. Had to change 5 of those to other customization options during the decoration mission, which was a bit weird. Having to change them to something I don't want so the quest registers, and having to change them back to what I want shown there, and already was before Ostara.
So, this is probably a problem after you've left Norway for the very first time and established Ravensthorpe, but when you go back to Fornburg in Norway, you see a merchant sign on the map, and it pops up when using Odin's sight, and in the compass, but there is actually never a merchant there.
Either there should still be a merchant (as Yanli isn't from Norway) or the markers should be gone. Now it appears there is a shop but there isn't.

@ubi-wan I've only seen it happen with this hair style, and this was the very first time. None of the items in the regular shops (arrows, weapons, runes etc) have been duplicated for me, ever. Other tattoos and hair styles at Tove have never had this problem either, and I just loaded my most recent save and things are back to normal. Even though I did not do anything. The game just randomly did that on its own. So incredibly weird...
Also, for some extra info, a comment on my video on youtube was:
"I have the same bug but for me it's more than 10 copies of classic hair blond I think they got duplicated when there was the double armor bug and every time you interacted with that bugged armor it duplicated another random item. Then Ubi fixed the double armors but these ones still remain. Very wierd bug..."
@ubi-wan You know what just occured to me.
The building marked as the "Fowl Farm" has so many patches of grain around it, and a cart with grain in it, you'd almost say that the Fowl Farm should be the Grain Farm.
As the current "Grain Farm" only has berries and something that looks like barley. None of the buildings has fowl those.
Just something that occured to me, no idea if this helps the devs at all, just figured maybe the names were mixed up.
So, in the past I noticed that after doing the very first conversation with Vagn, A River to Raid was immediately marked as completed. Then I got A River to Raid added again to my questlog and did the rest of the objectives as normal.
Now when looking at my completed quests log, the quest is in there twice, definitely due to the memory being marked as completed after the very first conversation with Vagn. I have no option to make a video as it's been a long time ago and I've done all River Raid stuff since then (I only just checked my completed quests log) but have an image of the completed quests log with the dupe entry:
I have no idea when this happened, and how this happened (as it was normal in the past) but somehow the option Classic Hair (blond) is in the list of hair at Tove's three times. I think this is a bit of an overkill Or they should be other pieces of hair showing as the classic blond hair?
See the video below.
So, since Estrid is gone back to Francia, and we'll be returning to Francia in The Siege of Paris dlc, how great would it be if it was possible to encounter her again there and continue your romance? It would be a good connection between the main game and the dlc, and can be a very romantic and touching reunion.
I hope the devs will add this to the dlc, and if they hadn't thought about it yet (which I doubt), hope they'll consider adding it after my suggestion.
@ubi-borealis I didn't see anything about it in the patch notes. What did they actually do/fix?
I downloaded the latest update, and the distrust area is still there, and when I take off the disguise people are still screaming.
I'm not sure what I should check if it's working or not, and I see nothing changed and I don't know what the devs intended to do about this problem.
