I said on another topic, they grabbed the cash to appease the shareholders, releasing the game unfinished so as not to directly compete with Cyberpunk. They could have delayed, they could have done better. Someone in the hierarchy decided not to. Same with the new patch. Rushed, broken, however this time they were trying to appease customers they have already taken money from.
It's just failure after failure. Losing their customers trust. -

When i go fishing and hook a fish, the animations stop. The fish appears dead, laying on it's side. Just looks like it's being dragged around in the water. Sometimes the fish runs and pulls away, but even then it's on it's side and just dragging. Then when it says i caught a fish, say brown trout (big) Eivor holds out empty hands for a second or 2.
Seems like this part of the game is not finished. I was really excited when i found out i could go fishing, then when i did, it was just extremely poor and disappointing. -

It's a shame. Consumers should be priority. Make a good game, it sells well, future titles sell more copies. By default, shareholders are happier because better product = more sales = more revenue. I'll bet Bethesda is still licking it's wounds after Fallout 76. Hopefully this is just as costly for Ubisoft and they can learn a valuable lesson. -

@chevy_man2010
Feels like the Fallout 76 debacle all over again. Too many game breaking bugs. Scores of minor bugs. Hundreds of frustrations. It just doesn't seem to work. What i tried to play on Ps4 is barely up to par for an open test version. Definitely not AU$170 worth of finished product. Ubisoft haven't been delivering on their games. Watchdogs Legion wasn't much better. -

In any case, the payment was for a WORKING amd PLAYABLE game. Minor bugs are expected. I've restarted twice because the game just broke, wouldn't let me progress, manual saves corrupted, auto saves all put me back in the same situation. That's not ok. Releasing an untested beta version for full finished product price is not ok. It seems only a few very lucky people are having playthroughs without massive bugs or glitches. -

I agree. This forum style is just bad.

Thankyou to whomever went and removed all the bug reports from the feedback forum. Well done, and thankyou.

@max18400
I hope you are right.
However, in fairness, people are paid to test these games. Someone was paid to find bugs, multiple people were. Releasing a product in this state, while charging full price, is just not ok. Destroying the game with the first major post release patch, and maintaining radio silence about it, is a grubby act. Taking money from people, for a product they know to be very broken, because they had to beat another game to release, or they wouldn't get many sales in comparison is low.
Hopefully they make recompense for this. But doubtful. They'll put the game on sale later and give the people coming in later something decent. Loyalists, and other who pre-order, will be repeatedly shafted. It's Ubisoft's new modus operandi.

Yeah, i should have made my comment a bit clearer. Sorry for the confusion.
If you click your comment, it takes you to that comment.
Also, when in a thread, at the bottom of a comment, if you see "# replies" when you click on the replies it groups them all together, directly under the comment. Which is great when an active thread gets going and there's a ton of comments to go through. -

@plume808 Yes, that's annoying, but if someone replies to your post after a few other posts have been made, pushing the '4 replies' button groups all replies together, which is a good feature for continuity when reading through a larger thread
@ubi-woofer The pocketed replies feature is good when you work it out. On a highly active thread you can group all replies under the original comment, which streamlines the thread in the thread. I can see it's confusing in smaller, less active threads, but in the big ones it's a great feature being able to group it all together. -

This new forum isn't without it's issues, but after using it for a few weeks on mobile it's becoming better the more i get used to it. They've added heaps of features to mobile version now that actually make it better than the old system.
Give it some time. It gets easier to use and there will be improvements made to the functionality. -

If you go into your "my feed" section, or into your user profile, you can see what you have commented on and go back to the post from there. Would save you from searching through everything else to find it. -

They had to get this game out before Cyberpunk released. They needed sales, and no developer would want to be up against that. It sucks, but that's how the cookie crumbled. I wouldn't be expecting anything other than radio silence until they have some sort of fix ready. At least Ubi got the money and could appease shareholders. They will fix a few things, in time. Hopefully from here on they will be careful not to create any more disastrous bugs when they do future patches.
And no, I'm not excusing their actions, or inactions, for that matter. It's almost despicable. I hoped what happened to Bethesda with Fallout 76 may have served as adequate warning about this kind of thing. But here we are. -
@chrigger
That's right. Skill point are handed out like candy so that if you choose to be overpowered, you can be. However if you don't want to be, just don't allocate them. It caters to both types, and even in the middle. It's your choice how many points you allocate, and how powerful your character becomes.
And this game has so many other issues that actually need the devs to resolve, that choosing to be overpowered (with such a simple solution) should indefinitely be put on the back burner. Progression blocks, saves being deleted, and the myriad of other huge bugs deserve immediate attention.
