Streaming pre launch (or at launch) is the dumbest thing imaginable.
People interested in the game will stay away pre launch and play themselves after launch.
People not interested won't watch anyway.
So what's the point?

I stopped playing Origins quickly because I simply didn't care about that dude.
And Valhalla is way bigger than Odyssey so they simply inserted the option to switch the gender on the fly so people can try out the other one without having to replay from scratch. That's all of it.

Does anybody not have the bug?
We had a bed bug already - you could go to bed in Ireland only once, then never again. Looks like they tried to fix that. And never even tested their fix, since it broke Dublin completely. Or the fix worked for the dev and got broken later when merged into the trunk.

Please rename the challenge to "Perform kills by using a great sword" now that we also have short swords so people know what they are supposed to do.

@outlander1982 Why remove the player's choice? Some want to play male, some female. Remove choice, decrease sales.
I actually wondered when I played Odyssey, Kassandra fired some arrows from hiding and got referenced as "she" - "now how do they know?".
This whole "he" and "she" thing is completely overrated. They chose a neutral sounding name (to most at least) to simplify the audio after all.

Yeah, Odyssey is precisely what I would have suggested to you as follow up. Your thoughts on that will be interesting - most people prefer Odyssey over Valhalla, but they have played it first of course.

Playing a game mode where opponents nibble at your health without rations and out-of-combat healing is not my idea of fun.
Also there is zero immersion for me in synthetic "kill all guys in time to unlock chest" challenges. They took the already bad mastery challenges and made them worse.

I pass.

Just sad how much effort they wasted on such a useless addon. Literally nobody asked for a rogue game mode, while our cries for new game plus, bugfixing and all that just keep getting ignored.

@TheNorfolkian We had wrong "ending soon" messages during festivals before. No reason to be concerned.

If the festival works like last year, remember to

• get tokens
• save game
• buy opal bags at vendor
• reload, this will return your tokens, but you will keep the opals
• spend tokens on something else

Also you can currently get 50 opals in Ubi Connect.

You need a certain level of Ravensthorpe for them to trigger.

Complete Edition: Ultimate + Ragnarök. If you want to pay full launch day price for both Ultimate and DOR this is your thing.

To start it you have to get to Ravensthorpe in England, and then play at least until Valka the seer arrives from Norway.
Maybe you also have to complete the Asgard arc, at least story wise that would make sense.
