Second time commenting. My first report was literally the day after the DLC aired. I tried the usual save exit and reload strategy, no change. I have no other old save to go back to, so I'm stuck until this bug is fixed.
I have TU 1.2.2, I've included a screenshot below for proof, and can play the Mastery Challenges.
Barid and Ciara are still in the same positions I last reported. Barid is standing in the stables, Ciara is at her original spot sitting at the table by the pub. Neither can be interacted with, nor attacked. Here's a video.
I can't share a screenshot showing that I own the DLC, but that seems redundant if I'm showing that I'm in Ireland in the video. But in the Microsoft store, it says "Manage, You own this" rather than "Install" or "Purchase", so I'm sure it's installed and updated properly.
I appreciate that y'all are overworked and underpaid, but this is really unacceptable. There have been DOZENS of bugs in the original story, and now to have a bug that is literally preventing the story from going on THIS EARLY in the storyline that is still around more than a month after the DLC has been released? Honestly really unacceptable on Ubisoft's part. This whole game has been a glitchy clusterf*ck from the very beginning, which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed the story and setting of this game in particular. Really hope Ubisoft gets their act together soon.
Third time writing a comment on this specific bug forum.
DLC was released May 13th. I experienced this bug May 14th (had to find a workaround into downloading it because I'm an Xbox user, not even getting into that bug). I first reported this bug here May 19th. No fix.
June 27th, made a second comment, with super detailed info and videos as to what my particular game looks like to give developers as much info as I can. Was reassured that the developers know about it, and that it would be fixed ASAP.
August 13th, today, was the release of the new DLC. No fix for this was in the new update. We're now 3 months past the release date and loads of people STILL can't proceed from the very beginning of the main questline. To add, Ubisoft has now repeated in the comments how they will not be offering any kind of refund or reimbursement for a faulty DLC that can't even be played. Why release an entirely new DLC when the first one has SO many bugs being reported and still unfixed?? This has gone from inconvenient to downright insulting.
