- Above all, don't go on a fantastic delirium at the limit of reality, with strange designs (assassin's creed hood, and masks far from the military universe). We are in a military and tactical universe, that's what makes it successful because it corresponds to a community.
I agree on artistic design wise, sure, you may think crosscom is non-existent in Clancyverse, but it's a staple for GR franchise since AW. Also we all prefer military real-life based gear along w/ some prototypes.
-Focus on a REAL territory. No non-existent island, a real country. You absolutely need jungle and ice. The desert is also appreciated, but we don't care about the depressing continental climate. Above all, do not give us this climate as a major. The player wants to TRAVEL. He doesn't want to go home. And most of the players for now are in Europe and North America.
If you prefer real life-based location, yes that could work, but if you talk about real country, best bet will be China or North Korea. If Ubi can't make it because of Bolivia controversy, A fictional country on real life-based location will do, so that's a win-win for everyone, w/o offending anyone else especially from 3rd world countries.
-Allow us to customize our equipment better. Because the player likes to create his own equipment. On Widland we can't do anything. If you don't want to introduce customization, please give us a lot more weapon choices per class. We don't want to look like clones.
I could care less for classes but more freedom customization are better.
-Don't censor the game. If you make it less violent, less realistic, we'll leave. Truly. Arcade games such as Fortnite, Counter Strike, are already made for that. Players looking for this style of play will stick with it. We want blood splatters, realistically collapsing bodies, realistic impact sounds, a little "scratch" sound when you headshot an opponent is an important satisfaction.
GR is always rated for M. Well, unless you want added some headshot cracks ala Sniper Elite and some previous brutalities that SB made on Wildlands.
-Do not introduce the "jump" function. It's very good like that. This function is useless, the current obstacle clearance is perfect.
GR are always never included jump mechanics. So this suggestion may become pointless (Unless Ubi really did adding jump mechanics that went too far).
-The game should be made for multiplayer first and foremost. Because that's what's going to keep him alive.
If this made multiplayer only, people won't gonna play future MP-only games because they knew PvP for them is suck, not to mention they can't solo on certain parts that requires co-op. Unless the AI is added to game, solo players won't play MP-only game titles. (Not all I mean, some)
We want immersive Maps, which make us travel and give us the impression of being there.
We all wish want map that is immersive enough and detailed.
I'd like to know what are unwritten rules for any CM's to prevent actively engaging community?
Just curious.
Also, what happens to GR:B digits when Ubisoft eventually shut down the multiplayer servers for the game? Even if they have non-zero value now, their value would surely plummet when people can no longer access the content linked to the NFT.
Will Ubisoft exchange the GR:B cosmetic for another cosmetic in a "current" game of the owners choice? More likely IMO, will the cosmetic linked to the NFT simply cease to exist? The token itself would become a permanent immutable monument to the purchaser's hubris
The point of crypto is that it has value due to its scarcity. But if (in the long game) Ubisoft keep making assets redundant and have to just keep minting more indefinitely then that's the opposite of scarcity. Also, I wonder, would having "dead" tokens on the ledger of whichever crypto they're using affect the overall value/reputation of that crypto? I'm a little hazy on that, perhaps it's irrelevant.
It does seem to me that Ubisoft just "don't get it" though.
@toreadorvampire
Then, it will be the crypto gamers fault, as they still blindly defending the business practices when comes NFT things that no one asked.
And they get bamboozled by shutting down game that is online-only, and the NFT cosmetic will stay there.
This is what happens when the idiots didn't vote the wallet and dumb-minded keeps purchasing it regardless.
W/ BP official ended the support, I would guess we should try the alternatives
Like, Ground Branch for example, it was developed by former R6/GR devs
Or we could try ArmA 3, yes Ik that one is purely milsim, not everyone got tasted of it, or any tactical-based shooter that is developed by indies, rather than AAA
Cuz y'know, Indie devs are better than AAA studios
I find it funny when people are having no mind online-only games to play and defending Denuvo DRM (Especially for Kmarko though, he's shilling for Ubi), but when Intel release Alder Lake CPU it makes some game unplayable on Denuvo DRM (Again, some still defending Denuvo, blaming Intel for made it unplayable because of efficiency CPU).
I can imagine when a game is reaching 10-years old, but still using Denuvo and having online-only for curbing piracy reason, what would happen if the internet goes total blackout?
More of misaligned iron sights indeed.
Really wish there's no left mistakes when creating weapons and it's attachments
Since the old forums is now archived, it might be good idea to have opinions about this new forum.
So, what do you guys think about new forum compared to the old ones?
(Might be writing more later because, y'know)
It's nice to have your suggestion box back on new forum, but will you also include your post from old archived forum about your suggestion?
That way anyone who doesn't know old forum exist can see your old post from old forum now.
Imagine if the stickied thread charter can only found on archived old forum....
@mars388502
Ik you've been pinging Heruhoss because of you were too stubborn, Ik you're persistent, but what would it gain if you going to ping him too much times? What if the execs find out that if Heruhoss is actually respond to your question? Would that force him to keep hush-hush? Or it would simply ended up fired as my previous answers about NDA (Yeah, I see that one don't know which covers and which isn't)?
Anyway just keep what you're doing
@Mars388502, @Sandilands85 is right though, they still bounded to NDA as they just can't answer fully willy nilly, otherwise had it broke and violated NDA, they will ended up either getting fired from Ubi, or cut the status off as Delta member
Just look what happened to a guy (Hugo I think?) that makes bar jokes, and Ubi got literally offended by it
Lurker @lolt6 here, I haven't been so much to post on this forum, let alone keeps signed off as I don't feel comfortable to post this anymore
I'm quoting @MARS388502 as I find his post about possibly what if the gamers acquire Ubi stock market as whole
Imagine the press titles "Ubisoft bought out at 10% by players", "Players represented at Ubisoft's administration council after buy out" and so on.
How would be funny to be if the Ubi market stock gets bought and then acquisitioned by players of one game franchises who can do better than current execs
Would that small change makes a big difference or it will still same as corpo greed?
Put this opinion here...
so i've been giving this some proper thought over the past few weeks with the news of a new game in the works, but i actually think they should just port the current gunsmith From BP and then add a few updates to the customization options for a more dynamic style.
the only things they really need to add are the following
*Ability to change Handguards
*More Barrel Length options (that actually affect Range)
*Ability to change Pistol Grips
*Ability to change upper receivers
I've done some mock ups again, all using stuff that's currently in BP's gunsmith that could be easily updated,
One of the big things that still needs to be overhauled is the Weapon menu though for this to work at its best, instead of having 23 different Variants of the M4/416/516 etc. just have one blueprint for each, with a better choice of barrel lenghts, handguards, trigger options and pistol grips to choose from so that we can customize our weapon the way we want it.
the Caveat being that we cant then just change any of these things whenever we want in the game world, to change barrels or trigger options these are things that we should only do at a main base location. adding some planning though into your weapon layout and selection for each mission.
Also on a side note when it comes to weapon paints in the next game, i really hope they don't start giving us colours like pink's and blues when it comes to plain colours, same with just shrinking down the clothing camo's as most of them just don't look right instead give us paint jobs like this!
Something that feels more authentic and looks like its been done by an operator in country
Anyway as always Ghost (what little of you there are left on here) let me know what you think
I fully wholehardly agree, this is how the gunsmith supposed to be for the next GR (Project Over I guess?)
You could turn any M4A1 into different one in AR-15 family, this same goes for AK family and such
And don't forget the additions from FS gunsmith, those are best one in GR franchiseAlso, this forum doesn't support link embed images now. So, embed fail?
Edit: I forgor this one, I fixed the embed link image to be properly rendered
But what would happen if Ubi decides to stop supporting this new forum like Bethesda?
Would you just simply move on from this forum? Or you also join other social media that it has?
Ik, some Ubi-staff is just lurking on discord
The last one was RealDude, who's the last post is in 2021
Not to mention that another one is server owner (shown by the crown)
@bigrexxx $ucks to be an L for console community
Besides, there's a few tactical-based shooter games coming on console, which I can't remember of
This my wording feels like I'm on PC master race here
W/ BP official ended the support, I would guess we should try the alternatives
Like, Ground Branch for example, it was developed by former R6/GR devs
Or we could try ArmA 3, yes Ik that one is purely milsim, not everyone got tasted of it, or any tactical-based shooter that is developed by indies, rather than AAA

I know, this title thread seems counter productive for anyone who stays on this forum but, what would happen if BP server went shutdown and so does this forum section?
Where else to discuss any current GR games if we currently stays on this forum reliantly?
Discord? Reddit? Twitter? Anything that goes discuss somewhere else about GR games
If you still want discuss, here's the official discord group:
https://discord.gg/uNdhcBbU: (https://discord.gg/uNdhcBbU)
Idk what else after...
Yeah, this forum is quickly became ghost town since the archival of old forum that we used there
Besides, there's a reason why old forum must be archived and moved to this current forum (It's unwanted spam ads bot, can't blame them)
Hell, even after improving current forum, there still some unwanted ads spam bots manage to post it here like it's vulnerable flaw left unchecked
Best thing they can do, is close down this forum. But that makes them old timers p1$$3d for what it done (Like, look at Bethesda forum)
And back to FcAC...
I would fear if FcAC's new acc decides post some sarcasm again, and then banned again and repeat, even worst it could lead IP ban for this forum (There's VPN around but I wouldn't recommend to use it)
I guess this new forum doesn't have off-topic section as it was irrelevant from Ubi eyes. (Tried once in old forum)
Oh well, time to post this regardless...
So uh.... Is it me or did FcAC got banned for some sarcasm that Ubi can't stand of it?
What was he doing anyways?
I'm confused as hell
