same, I replicated the bug no problem on a different save when they initially said that they couldn't reproduce it last month, its been 2 1/2 months now without a fix that I just want them to force end the quest at this point.I've looked up the ending of the quest and the game(sucked [censored] in my opinion).I have invested alot of time, materials and skills in my first save to start over again so ill settle with just skipping the quest if I can. I said it before and I'll say it again, [censored] UBISOFT you owe me and everyone on here compensation for putting up with your [censored] deceitful buisness practices & your buggy [censored] game.
@ubiexcellent so thats it?after a few weeks waiting for an update we get "sorry still looking into it?" I mean for [censored]'s sake offer refunds or at the very least helix credits for this because this issue has been around for months,people CANNOT continue the storyline and complete the game because of this bug,at this rate what is the point of even playing this game? The current game you have is broken and your events are bugged to [censored], Im trying my best to understand the situation with the pandemic and the holidays but to wait for months for a company to fix a bug so i can complete the story is outrageous,best believe that I will be writing to any game reviewing website about this.

yeah man I dont see this being fixed anytime soon,if only this bug we're all experiencing were like the other bugs (rune or xp farm and other "game breaking bugs") that got in the way of them pushing for their xp and money boost pack, if that was the case it would have been hotfixed and patch within a day
paid $120+ for this game and still cant progress thru the story and finish due to this damn bug,Its been 3-4 weeks now,ubisoft should take a page out of cyberpunk devs and either address and perform a hotfix for this game breaking bug or issue refunds
@kamlioo10 @imcrazyblah0 I completely agree, they lost a alot of customers over this, Im the type of person that usually buys helix stuff for new playthroughs etc,I dont think I will this time around honestly,why buy extra stuff for a broken game you know?.Its good that they're addressing an issue with this quest but does anyone know which issue it was?There is SOOO many bugs with this quest alone and I really dont have that much faith that its completely fixed and some people may continue waiting for a fix.
Just like the majority of everyone here, I picked up the brooch while exploring prior to accepting this quest, the quest doesnt recognize that the brooch is in my possession and will not update leaving me unable to progress in this integral main story line,Im over 100 hours in and would rather not have to start a new game over this bug, attached is a screenshot of the situation. 1 of 2

a few notable youtubers/streamers as well as reddit threads are voicing their displeasure and annoyance with Ubisoft's [censored] practice and service, they touch base on the REAL game breaking bugs, the opal gains,the quick fixes to farming stuff while ignoring major bugs and how its unrealistic for players to get helix items and the fact that there will be more items in the store than in game. Good to see that these problems are being brought to attention but I highly doubt [censored] will address it in a timely manner or if they will even address it at all, they reap what they sow
