You mean something like the free drive challenges in The Crew 1? Definitely thumbs up for that, wishing for something similar since game's release.
"Reverse existing tracks" sounds funny for some events, for example the Round 5 MT stunt event
What do you think about making mixed events from all the previous Summits available? Imho there were some I really liked and it would be nice to repeat them from time to time or use them to practice for upcoming events
When I'm on the road with the Crown Vic Cab for me it's more like playing Crazy Taxi than The Crew 2. I know it's made for free drive, but I'd like more challenging options like no damage or some dynamic in the cash reward (more when you are fast, less when you took it slow). And at least some statistics how many of them I already did or some hint that I already did the one I just picked.
And please no more hundreds of arm-waving icons for every Contractor spot. The map already is max spamed and completely useless without setting up filters ... every time again after restarting the game. You don't even need the 5 spots that already are on the map, just fast travel to some random spot and several Contractor spots will instantly show up on the mini map.
@paptrap The game is almost 7 years old, even The Crew 2 already had it's 3rd birthday some months ago. What makes you think there will still be new cars in the old part of the franchise? Last time vehicles were added was for the CAU addon (or shortly after that) back in 2016.
And btw the last change in the car pool was to remove Subaru, so the possibility to get a new one is exactly zero...
Even back in TDU2 we had these guys who wanted it as risky as possible. As much as I can imagine the "Jolt meter" you suggested for driving save, I can imagine something like a "Fun meter" for performing stunts that effects the tip you get, the more fun the passenger had on the stunt ride the more tip you get at the end Maybe even both is possible - you only have to know if you can speed up or have to play save
@adventureflama Another idea already suggested long time ago is to make the past summits available to start from the game's menu and when you manage to finish a summit above the minimum platinum score from it's first iteration you get all the rewards of this summit you didn't get in the past.
Yes this doesn't include the Motor Pass vehicles. For this I think your idea isn't that bad at all But you should make a difference between the rides everyone could get for free and those that only were available when purchasing Premium with 80k CC. Making these available for free now or just for doing some races/missions/whatever would be a punch in the face of those who bought every Premium Motor Pass since it's release (worth 640k CC until now...).
@anykeyer Strange thing is that you are the only one complaining about broken odometers of all these rides. I just checked at the rides that were added since start of MP season 3 and not one single car lost milage since I last noted it. Btw I check and write down all milage of every ride I have at least once a month and I'm sure I would have noticed if the old rides would lose milage.
Yes, we had a problem with not saved milage on all MP season 4 rides directly after start of season 4.1, but this was corrected one week later and since then every ride keeps the milage for me. Have you ever thought of Error 40 (40cm in front of the screen)? Maybe the error is in your installation...
@CREW_ITALY The Hypercars still have a good speed, there's nothing that needs to be corrected.
On New York HC nobody forces you to make cuts or drive off road. I think the huge break down for the HC when you leave the road is one of the best changes ever made. Hypercars are made for roads and not to drive through wood and fields. Now you're finally motivated enough to drive the track like it is wanted.
Only thing I agree is the traffic on the New York HC race or every other race that features traffic. As long as the traffic AI acts completely unpredictable and far away from logical it's a huge pain in the [censored] to meet them in races. In some races, especially New York HC, the traffic even seems to be scripted because you always meet traffic in the exact same places and always where you don't want to have them and mostly on your ideal racing line. In Summits every race is without traffic, so why not give us an option to turn off traffic in races? It's one thing that is wanted since game's release and I completely don't understand why we don't get it.
@brady2827 Especially when you are an Icon 9,999 player you definitely won't need cash boosted parts anymore. As @OBu42 already said, you don't need a lot of money anymore looong before reaching this level. I'm somewhere around Icon 2,500 and there's nothing left I could buy with Bucks with still 22M in my account and rising. Even when there are new vehicles released for Bucks purchase, I usually don't have to spend much effort to get the cash back in less than some days. A friend of mine is somewhere around 3,500 I believe and every week he scratches at the Bucks cap and burns money by buying spare parts or useless recalibrating...
I even have a golden set for every ride, so I don't need to maximize the loot quality. And btw Lucky doesn't effect anything in loot quality This discussion is as old as The Crew 2 and nobody until now has proven that there is a mentionable or noticeable effect.
I even did a test series to see if there is a difference between a set with Lucky and a set without it. So I took both of my profiles and used the HC Fame Magnet set from the Summit that originally came with Rich and Lucky. For one profile I left the parts as they were and for the other profile I reclibrated the Lucky to Popular. Then I drove the Highspeed Takedown event over and over again and noted every single performance part given from the event - the table with the raw data for that is huge after about 1,500 races in each profile. Same car, same race, same sets, same Icon point settings - only difference is the Popular in one set and the Lucky in the other.
To get it compared I used the spare parts I got from the performance parts after scrapping and I combined them in blocks of 64 parts (a full mailbox size). With 178.5% Lucky on one side and 0.0% on the other side I expected an increase of the spare parts amount per mailbox by 178.5% or at least somewhere around 125 - 150% in the worst case. After hours of driving and thousands of miles I can say: Yes, there is an increase in the quality, but only by 15% - this is ridiculous and too far away from what it should be regarding the description of the part's affix. Sometimes a full mailbox without Lucky even got me better parts than a full mailbox with Lucky, that's why I conclude Lucky doesn't effect anything.
@bob_klmjongun For me the main question would be: Why do you buy spare parts when you already own more than 40 million of them? I would even have problems to spend all these 40M, so why is there a need to buy even more of them? And as an experienced player with a level above 3,500 you really should have known that the game automatically switches to CC when you are low on Bucks, that's not new, TC1 acted exactly the same way

@tiggegaming The gold edition is the main game including the Season Pass, not the Motor Pass. The Season Pass is why you already have 25 rides in your garage when starting the game for the first time and why you own a second house in L.A. besides the house in Miami. But more usefull stuff it doesn't feature. The Season Pass was only relevant for the first year after games release back in June 2018, everthing implemented after that first year has no connection to the Season Pass - like the Motor Pass that exists since Nov 2020. Here you have the choice for every new episode between "normal" and "Premium".

Hello there,
We flagged this issue in our latest Patch Notes: https://ubi.li/HyAwJ
We plan on releasing a fix for next Season release. We'll let you know within the next patch notes as well.
Thanks.
Season 4.2 started today and still no fix for this problem... Or which season do you mean with "next season release"?
@ubi-karl Just letting everyone know this has happened to me as well. There seems to be a long barrier blocking us from getting to the check point, even if I "Fast Travel" to the start of the Slalom. I tried driving around in a circle to find an entrance and there's no entrance.
Thanks for the response, ubi-karl, glad to know game is still being worked on.
That's not just a "long barrier", that's the Miami Airport Drift track. In the past it was only visible there when driving the Drift event, but with some update last year it became permanently visible making the Slalom skill impossible to complete. Obviously nobody at Ivory Tower cares about it, otherwise it would have been fixed months ago. So don't expect a fix in the near future and just drive the event with an Monster Truck to get at least the skill done.
@predict-_1
For No.1: If you do the races properly you don't need to break trees, accept in some RR events there are never trees in your way. When you mean in free drive then just take a little time and think about what would happen to your car when you hit a tree. Unfortunately I already experienced this in RL and I can tell you the tree always wins. If you want to break trees play Forza Horizon.
For No.2: If you mean the traffic you are completely right. They have never been the smartest, even back in The Crew 1, so just don't expect too much from them If you mean the NPCs in racing events then you do something wrong. In almost every event you won't see the opponents again after you overtook them at the start. In some events you have to lap them what has an annoying taste, but in general they cause no problems.
For No.3: See No.1, do the event properly and you don't have tree-problems. But you are definitely right with the traffic, always there where you don't need them
For the bonus question: How many players will get the platinum ranking depends on the average number of players on every plattform, monitored during several months. Until last summer you needed to be in the Top3000 when you wanted to have a platinum ranking, no matter what platform you used for playing. On Stadia for example every player reached a platinum ranking because there where only around 1000 players participating in the summit. On the other hand on playstation you even reach 100k+ players in some Summit weeks, so there had to be some adjustments. The only thing I wonder about is why they didn't took the logic they used in The Crew 1. There you had some kind of dynamic in the platinum rankings, you get platinum when you are a top 10% player, so every Summit's platinum rankings directly depend on the number of players participating in the events and it adjusts automatically with every new player.
Is it just me or are there more and more sets with completely useless affixes? Somehow it seems they are letting their trainees roll some dice, but remove the only useful affixes before that. To be honest I really wait for the moment they want to give us Drifty on some plane parts, Bender and Muddy for a boat or Magnificent on Dragster parts ... and I wouldn't even be surprised if this happened...
