As the title says. On ps5 and Xbox series X the game uses temporal reconstruction (which is really good) to maintain 60 fps, keeping around the 1440p range for a good portion of the game. On PC, though, this setting, under the label of anti aliasing (for some unknown reason) allows it only to go to .83 on the axis, which for 4k would be around 1800p. Given how good temporal reconstruction is in this game, given the performance it brings, given the total lack of DLSS or FSR, can anyone explain WHY I am not allowed to temporally reconstruct from lower resolutions like consoles do and get more performance? It is completely arbitrary and it seems on purpose
PS: the resolution scale setting on the display tab uses some rudimentary form of spacial upscaling like bilinear. You can check it yourself
