@epicaar Yes, the wording makes it likely that some of us won't benefit from the solution. I'm afraid it might depend on when you have saved the game, i.e. whether (1) you have a save game from before pledging to Cent (which I don't), or (2) you have a save game after completing Cent but before reporting to Randvi (which I also don't), or (3) you have a save game after reporting to Randvi but before going to bed (which I do), or (4) you only have a save game after waking up to a dark and stormy Ravensthorpe and being unable to interact with anyone. I do hope the solution they found covers the first three instances (i.e. after you go to bed the cut-scene with Dag triggers), while I think a solution for the fourth case (you already woke up and Dag was not there to fight you) might be more tricky.
@docholliday182 I totally agree with you - a lot of bad blood could have been avoided here and on other communication channels if our postings would have been taken seriously. Anyways, as a first step towards reconciliation I still say: thank you, Ubisoft (which implies: yes, the update finally solved the problem)! Maybe you can improve your information flows towards your customers in the future, so that you avoid unnecessary frustration. A few weeks ago I would have immediately bought "Wrath of the Druids" upon its release, but after stumbling across the Brewing Storm bug and especially the way you (Ubisoft) have been dealing with it I'm not so sure anymore ...
@wumme yes, I can confirm that it worked for me with exactly this game status (save game after reporting back to Randvi from Cent but before going to bed). Not sure if that is relevant, but I didn't have "brewing storm" as the active quest when going to bed, i.e. I had another quest (one of the river raids) active in the save game and I didn't change the quest but simply loaded my save and went to bed. The cut scene then triggered, with Dag calling me outside to face him (I only switched to the "brewing storm" quest before leaving the longhouse to talk to him).
PS: I'm playing on PS4, with language changed from German to English (as I prefer the original speakers)

@docholliday182 we'll know for sure tomorrow at 13:00 CEST when the update will be released. The text of the update announcement makes me more hopeful, as it basically says that the problem with the duel with dag not triggering after going to bed has been fixed...

The next update was just released today, but didn't fix the brewing storm problem: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/97266/old-wounds-unholy-father-the-thegn-of-lincoln-falling-stars-hotfixes-live?lang=en-US
So "next" was definitely fake news ...
Same issue here. Spent almost 120 hours in the game and came across this bug today. Doing Jotunheim in the meantime (starting from a save game after reporting on Cent but before going to bed), hoping it is not in vein ...
