Dear Ubisoft developers, There desperately needs to be a patch that enables players to select previous Armor styles while still keeping the upgraded stats.
This is already a feature when customizing your Jomsviking lieutenant's appearance.
Some of the upgraded armor looks cool but is very gaudy and overwhelming, it would be nice to select a more basic appearance for armor and weapons while keeping the same stats as per upgrade iteration.
Any other thoughts friends?
@commandernomad I'm 40 hours in- unarmored enemies now taking two headshots with armor piercing ammo. Totally broken. A headshot is a hesdshot. 1 and done. Pistols against armor and helmets makes sense if it's lower damage- NOT ARMOR PIERCING RIFLES.
I'm pretty far into the game, all of a sudden I'm noticing soft target enemies taking 2 headshots at point blank range to the face before dying. They have no armor, no helmet and I'm using armor piercing rounds which shouldn't even matter, yet they take multiple hits to the head. This is RIDICULOUS, please Ubisoft devs, fix this! It's very immersion breaking and gimmicky.
At the very least, headshots for soft target enemies need to be a one hit (100%) of their healthbar. The healthbar system doesn't bother me, I just turn it off in HUD options, but enemies tanking rifle rounds to the face is just silly.
@darth_potat0 if you can double tap the head? That's a bullet sponge. I've constantly been taking soft target enemies down having to hit them twice with an armored piercing rifle round- MAKES ZERO SENSE. What? Do these soldiers have depleted uranium skulls?! Needs to be fixed NOW. Headshot is a headshot for an unprotected head.
Dear, Ubisoft devs, Motherlands was a great addon- but I feel in the year 2025, especially with the new cloaking technology the Ghosts have- We also need to feel futuristic with advanced armor. The exoskeleton similar to the one from wildlands would be an amazing addition to any upcoming patch or maybe store dlc. As an unlockable or purchasable armor set, players would love to be able to mix and match helmets and NVG goggles with the exoskeleton armor, instead if a single outfit that cannot be customized in appearance. Just a great suggestion from a long time fan of the series. If the futuristic exoskeleton is available for Ghosts in Wildlands, it should be available in this sequel.
Best wishes and many thanks.
@graesholt The shrinking weapons REALLY [censored] me off- it looks terrible.
@mikules Combat feels very disconnected on controller for PC and Console.
Parrying is lame looking, finishers are repetitive and my weapons shrink and grow like balloons when I sheathe them.
The combat feels like an oversight which is super disappointing.
P.S
The cloaks for Eivor literally spaz out when you are climbing stairs and walls it looks horrendous.
This game will need ALOT more work before it is worth 60 bucks.
@dv20katana Exactly what I mean- they could at least allow people to turn off the stupid ranked damage model. no enemy should be able to take rifle rounds to the face.

@katzenkrimis71 What mods did you do? Because I upgraded all of mine and they still won't kill soft targets with 1 headshot, this occurs during missions, and higher ranked soldiers. It is still ridiculous, that a "higher level soldier" with no armor can tank headshots- No matter what bullets you use!

@flanker1six AP ammo still doesn't change the fact that "soft target" enemies take multiple headshots before dying. Makes ZERO sense. This needs to he fixed- headshots should be a one hit. Pistol rounds against helmeted and armored enemies can do less, which would be okay if rifles went straight through helmets.

@seanc-87 I personally love raiding with male Eivor running in, carrying two heavy claymores and tattoos all over- looks like a terrifying, ripped Viking berserker. That's the point of tattoos for me lol.
