before you ask, i followed the troubleshooting steps. i don't believe it's actually updating and i'm not sure if it's actually trying to update anything or this is some weird glitch. also, game doesn't save fsr or look sensitivity settings when i relaunch.
what worked for me was updating icue
i can confirm the hd textures are still blurry even with reduced cache size
a. fsr is on quality mode
b. not using fx cas
not using the hd textures so no idea why having gobs of vram or not matters, even though "needing" that much for hd textures is absurd, and contradicted by your system requirements chart

i would like to note that after a few minutes playing with hd texture pack on (which looks so much better, unfortunately), that my game fps drops to around 10-15 from over 60. this may be due to my having "only" 8gb of vram, though i'm wondering why the game can't just utilize my 6 gb of system ram overhead, like most games are able to?
@ubi-keo idk what managed to fix it but i reloaded autosave enough and eventually it worked so idk [censored] is up with that.

npc voice lines will cut out prematurely often being interrupted by themselves with other lines or sounds. happening talking with edgar reyes about putting my brain in a jar.
have to restart game to get them to load; hope this is a known issue that is being worked on. playing on pc with latest patch.
@ubi-oxavo have latest patch; playing on pc. i guess i could upload a video, though i'm not sure how to indicate what inputs i am pressing when i get stuck, versus it just seeming like i'm not pressing anything

it seems if i get too close without having enemies see a dead body, the interaction gets bugged. interestingly, if the interaction plays out properly, there seems to be a continuity error in the description of the nearby unique smg, which implies that dmitri died instead of vasiliy.
fsr saves now but still not mouse sensitivity
@ubi-thrupney no, i'm almost certain i cleared the area. the issue is that i could not talk to the russian. the on-screen prompt just told me to get the key from the body in the pool. maybe this is because i looted the unique weapon before acquiring the mission?
