I have filed a formal complaint to the BBB requesting a refund. I encourage all of you to do the same. Below is a screenshot of the complaint, the case number, and what I wrote to the BBB in the complaint. You can just cut and paste what I wrote if you want to. If you do that the whole process will only take a few minutes.

Ubisoft is a video game publisher that has a track record of releasing products that are unfinished or laden with bugs/glitches. They, and many other publishers, often release their products in the aforementioned state only to use the online connectivity of current gaming platforms (xbox, playstation, pc, etc) to issue updates to fix or address the issues the product/game shipped with initially. One of Ubisoft's current releases, "Far Cry 6" was released in the same manor with multiple small issues, in addition to a few others that make the game/software completely unusable. Ubisoft has been aware of one particular game breaking issue, known as the "Paradise lost" glitch or loop, for close to 6 weeks and done nothing about it. They have released 3 separate updates for the software, none of which have addressed this issue. All attempts at getting a refund have been denied by Ubisoft. There are multiple consumers that have purchased this product, and are affected by this issue, that makes the software they paid full price for unusable. Never mind the fact that in the time Ubisoft has been made aware of the aforementioned issue, they have released other updates for the game called downloadable content or 'DLC', that they can further monetize. All while failing to address a catastrophic glitch in the base software. Myself and multiple other consumers have worked with Ubisoft's 'support team', submitted videos of the glitch per their request, asked for help, a solution or a refund. None of which have been accommodated. Below is a link to the Ubisoft forums, where you can see 6 pages of posts and responses from users across all platforms (pc, Xbox, Playstation) that are affected by this issue. You can see that the first time this glitch was brought to Ubisoft's attention was 10/11 & Ubisoft staff responded 10/18

@genuine-wap Agreed! In addition to that, the fact that you can't get compensated/get a refund for a product you paid for that is defective or that you can't use is bullsh!t.
"This is because your order has been finalized, and our store policy states that purchases are no longer eligible for refund once they have been accessed."
Yeah so, you know that software that doesn't work at all, that you can't use, that you paid full price for? Well, you see it's been 'accessed' so, ummmm yea... We are keeping your money.
But I see the first DLC is on schedule to release.... What a joke
You think ^^ was embarrassing? Listen to this! I filed a refund request w/ the BBB and I just got a response from a Ubisoft 'Escalations Specialist.' According to them, the issue has been fixed! That's right! All the people across every single platform that are still experiencing this problem worry no more! The last patch fixed it! (sarcasm)
WOW. What a joke! As if their incompetence wasn't on full display already, they are now contraindicating each other! Below is their response and my reply.

"Hello!
My name is Ariadne and I am the Escalations Specialist here at Ubisoft Support. I wanted to thank you for raising your concerns with us. I have been investigating the case that you have opened with our support agents (Case #15623402) and I have some additional questions to aid in our investigation.
This issue to this was resolved in a recent patch, could you please update the Ubisoft Connect client and verify your game files before testing your game again? In order to fully do this, please follow these steps:
It's best to keep the game client updated to the latest version. Client updates serve many purposes and if the version is out of date, it could be causing issues with games launched from the client."

I am rejecting this response because:
Their response is 100% inaccurate. It completely contradicts all the information stated by other Ubisoft employees/tech support in the multiple forums that this issue has been discussed and brought to their attention. To the Ubisoft 'Escalations Specialist' that will review this complaint, it would behoove you to actually read your own forums and stay up to date, instead of just cutting/pasting a canned response. If you did, you would see that multiple Ubisoft tech support employees have acknowledged that the aforementioned issue HAS NOT been fixed and they have been aware of it close to two months.
The fact that you just regurgitated a generic response and completely contradicted what multiple Ubisoft 'support specialists' have stated, speaks to the level of incompetence in your support staff.
Please take five minutes, educate yourself on the issue, and process my refund. Here is a link to YOUR company's forums, where multiple users on all platforms are still experiencing this issue and your 'support staff' acknowledges multiple times it HAS NOT been fixed.

No response from any Ubi employee in over a week.... Your silence speaks volumes. This glitch has been well documented for over a month. Here we are 3 patches/updates later with no fix, no ETA, no further comment from staff, and no chance at getting a refund. Is that even legal? The best part? The FC6 known issues list that was updated TODAY (https://bit.ly/3col6Uk: (https://bit.ly/3col6Uk)) and still has no mention of this game breaking glitch.
Holy sh!t, I can't think of a bigger slap in the face to consumers, gamers, and anyone who purchased another one of your bug laden, unfinished products. It is true, that with the advent of online connectivity publishers are prone to release unfinished/buggy products under the guise of updating them later. Ubi as a publisher has a track record of doing just that. This is a new low even for you, and that's saying a lot.
Everyone on this forum, I ask you a question and that you participate. What's the move here? A formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau? Promoting this story, their lack of service and comment, and refusal to give refunds for a product that doesn't work on any/all social media platforms? What is the best way to get eyes/attention on this complete f*ck-over?
@maestronline I totally agree! Most FPS games at least have a few more difficulty settings. I could literally run through this whole game, using just a pistol, except for having to take out the occasional chopper or tank....
Same problem here. Stuck in the Paradise lost, mission failed respawn loop. Does having a friend join while in the main menu give you a chance to get to the mission zone and get out of the loop?
I have one friend that has the game on PC but am having a hard time meeting him online to attempt this work-around. If there are any PC players that can give me a moment of their time I'd really appreciate it. Message me on Ubisoft connect, Merk565.
Thanks in advance!
@pipobertje What I read was, if you are stuck in the mission failed respawn loop you need to join a friend while you are both in the main menu. Apparently you will either spawn in the air so you can wingsuit over OR fast travel won't be disabled for them. You have to join a friends game that IS NOT stuck in the glitch/loop! Make sure you friend backs up his save games first. I wouldn't want to infect my friends save game with this glitch.
Still not sure if any of this works but it's the only chance at a work-around there is at this point. It's not even mentioned in the news thread for the game that was updated today. [censored]!!

@snackzorz Thanks for the response.
I looked around a bit and found another trainer, and this one appears to be free: https://flingtrainer.com/trainer/far-cry-6-trainer/: (https://flingtrainer.com/trainer/far-cry-6-trainer)
It hasn't been updated since the last FC6 update so some of the features may not work. Most of the posts from people that have used the trainer seem to have pretty good luck with it. I downloaded it but haven't had a chance to install it/try it out.
@snackzorz I thought it might, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Which 'trainer' did you use? The one I posted the link to?
PC PLAYERS!! There is a work-around! A lot of the game trainers available have a 'travel to waypoint' feature. Snackzorz used it and it worked for him.
Again, here is a link to one of the more reputable ones I've read about:
https://www.cheathappens.com/75656-PC-Far-Cry-6-trainer: (https://cheathappens.com/75656-PC-Far-Cry-6-trainer)
I'll give it a shot and report back!
@salmoliv I too requested a refund. Their response was, NO! "This is because your order has been finalized, and our store policy states that purchases are no longer eligible for refund once they have been accessed."
To all pc players having this issue, has anyone tried any of the 'game trainers' to get passed this? They all seem to have a 'teleport to waypoint' feature available. Based on what I've read, the link below seems to be one of the most reputable, but I haven't had time to try it. https://www.cheathappens.com/75656-PC-Far-Cry-6-trainer: (https://cheathappens.com/75656-PC-Far-Cry-6-trainer)

Tried everything I could w/ a friend in co-op who wasn't stuck in the mission fail loop. Nothing worked. I also tried to use his save game files in my game as a last resort. That resulted in the game failing to launch.
No option other than waiting for an official fix as far as I can tell.
@pipobertje You joined a friends game that wasn't stuck in the loop/glitch and it didn't work?
