@darkrtx2080 I think they don't know what they are doing, or the tech department is not communicating with the marketing department.
16GB VRAM is so unrealistic. I believe that of the Nvidia cards, only the 3090 with 24GB manages these requirements.

It does not matter whether the texture pack is installed or not. It´s always blurry.

Can more people just participate here please? Guessing won't get us anywhere but solutions from Ubisoft, which we can probably speed up with our help.
I think we agree that there is a problem with VRAM management, but it is hardly solvable from our side but only from the developers.
@tylikson "and the support service also stopped commenting on everything to us, just a game of silence"
That is simply not true. I have reported the problem to Ubisoft as requested and have already been contacted twice on my ticket to provide info. Instead of just complaining, maybe just support the developers as described here (https://discussions.ubisoft.com/post/610002), so that we are all helped swiftly via patch.
It's Monday morning and I thought that maybe the server load since the release of FC6 might have something to do with the poor connection of the launcher, but even now I either can't get to my games at all (Ubisoft services are down), or the launcher takes a minimum of 5 minutes to get past the "initialization page".
And even after that, it's not sure that the game saves are synced, etc.
I can only agree with the opinion here: The problem is on the side of the launcher or Ubi. From my side, nothing has changed in the settings of the PC and even if I open all ports, or even turn off the firewall and allow all network traffic, then still nothing changes the fact that the connection to Ubi is established badly or not at all.
I'm joining the ranks here.
The textures of the weapons and clothing are sometimes blurry and do not load/stream correctly. It doesn't matter if the HD-textures are enabled or not, although subjectively it happens more often when HD-textures are enabled.
For me, it sometimes helps to switch to the options and go back into the game (e.g. switching DRX on/off). Sometimes it also helps to switch weapons until the textures are fully loaded.

Here's some positive feedback: It's been working for me for two days straight. I no longer have any waiting time when initializing and also no disconnections or difficulties when synchronizing the game data. Fingers crossed that it stays like this.
This is the answer from support, although I had mentioned several times that the washed out textures also occur without activating the HD pack:
"Your graphics card has 11 GB VRAM, but 16 GB are required for the HD pack. That's why your textures are washed out."
I give up with you dear Ubisoft...I really give up.

Just downloaded a 45MB patch for the launcher and thought it would finally work again like it did in previous YEARS before...but it did not...initialization to doomsday...and then: lost connection!
Never change a running system Ubi!

@constantin-by: Same thing here. Also with FC6.
@Ubi-Milky: Something is wrong with the launcher or the servers.
