I can confirm the game is STILL in an unplayable state. I am [censored] off beyond any reason and I believe I have the right to. We have waited MORE than a week for a permanent fix that didnt fixed anything? You dont know how excited I was to FINALLY log in today and play Valhalla. After the game loaded the first I went to do was the Viking Brawl all 10 rounds as this was impossible before due to freezes and crashes. It didnt even take 5 MINUTES and the game instantly crashed to desktop in Round 2. This is supposed to be the permanent fix, you know what that means ? From now on they wont bother with this issue and just leave it in the game. Its been 8 days that the game IS UNPLAYABLE and Im still paying for it. Like what the hell do you mean permanent fix ???? I had no crashes before 18th of March. Literally nothing has been fixed. How is this even possible more than 4 months after release? Can you please actually do something about this and not wait another 2 weeks ?

@elmac69 Im playing on PC and its the same. I dont even need to in the settlement but as you say It crashes at random moments. Yesterday I encountered 12 crashes in less than 4 hours before giving up. This is probably the last time I ever paid for anything from Ubisoft. The game is unplayable since the last patch dropped.

@kormac67 Yeah I know its 100% problem on their side but as far as they can find ANYTHING wrong on your side they will claim its your fault... At this point its pathetic when the problem is cross-platform and occuring all the time. I have put 50 hours in to the game before the patch and had about 2-3 crashes but I didnt mind that cuz' it was in 50 hours you know. But I tell you the game is unplayable now and tommorrow its going to be a week. I try the game every day and it freezes and crashes after mere minutes. Doesnt matter what im doing or where I am. I am really frustrated that there is no feedback from Ubisoft. Like what do they need ? A month ? They are still finishing the game 6 months after release.

Hey guys, so yesterday I contacted Ubisoft support and had a live chat with them. I described that the game is really unplayable because the game crashes every few minutes for me. Doesnt matter where I am or what am I doing. This is ONLY happening after the last patch dropped on 18th. I even send my msinfo and dxdiag files. They said that apparently I have outdated GPU drivers and that I should verify the game files. I updated the GPU driver and I verified the game files 2x. Yes. I even switched to just one monitor instead of 2 which I usually use. I have tried everything they told me to and everything the community suggested. It didnt help one bit and the game continues to crash every few minutes and I am getting very frustrated over this because I am paying for Ubisoft+ just to play AC:Valhalla. I even asked when can we expect the permanent fix and they have no timeframe and no updates on that so I guess its just being ignored. Tommorrow its going to be a WEEK that the game is unplayable. I believe we have been patient enough and a WHOLE WEEK is enough to fix a game-breaking issue that plenty of players are having. No word from Ubisoft, no promise of any compesation, not any updates for the fix, nothing.

@splintbert I feel you man. I havent played the game since the Ostara festival dropped. I can barely complete Reda's daily quests before the game crashes. Literally no one cares that we cant play the game we are paying for. Wanna hear some truth? They will do NOTHING for people with problems like you and me. You know when will the fix come most probably? When the festival ends so thats like 9 more days of not playing. And even after that there is a chance it wont work. But hey ! New microtransactions coming soon !

@smrtiak-svk O tie meče nejde, na tie sa teším určite lebo dual wield one handed mečov znie cool ale hra proste nefunguje. Napálil som 50 hodín do hry pred tým než vyšiel ten nový event patch 18. marca a odvtedy sa to nedá hrať.... Hru viem spustiť aj všetko ale nonstop do pár minút hra zamrzne a crashne instantne. Rekord mám 12 crashov za 2-3 hodiny. Ja som si tú hru tiež dovtedy užíval ale už sa to nedá lebo nonstop myslíš na to kedy to najbližšie padne. Už som skúšal všetko a nič nepomáha dokonca som mal live chat s ubisoftom a nič. Na mojej strane chyba nemôže byť kedže 50 hodín to išlo ako malo a dnes je to týžden čo som vôbec nehral lebo sa to neoplatí pustiť... Do 5 minút crash a už som fakt fakt frustrovaný. Neviem kde hráš ty no ja som na PC - GPU drivery updatnuté všetko.

The game has been unplayable for a week now. Week straight I cannot play the game I paid for but hey I am happy that Ubisoft listened and we are going to have new weapons in a game that dozens and dozens of players cant even play. Yay!

@tolkyyn every time the game crashes you loose reda quests that you didnt complete but you can accept them again and do them. just so you dont think its lost forever but yeah I agree. I havent played the game for 4 days now because its unplayable yet I doubt there will be any compensation for this. I am paying for Ubisoft+ ONLY to play Valhalla but I cant. This is the last time I payed for something from Ubisoft. No response, no feedback, putting out hotfix that doesnt hotfix anything , no compensation , no nothing.

I don't know if anyone has this problem but it's getting out of hand. I never ever post on forums because I am too lazy to do so - but this is just too much. I paid for this 30€ so far just to play AC Valhalla (Ubisoft+ month 2) and the game just keeps crashing. It's not a specific activity or anyhing so it seems to be completely random. Trust me when I say I can take A LOT. But this got to the point where it's getting really really frustrating. 1 hour of playing the game - 3 crashes to the desktop - 0 saved progress. The game takes 5 minutes to launch because I can't skip any intro and the loading is tedious. I get into the game and talk to the first NPC I see and the game crashes. Another 5 minute launch and It takes me 30 minutes to catch 3 fishes of which I need 10. Game crashes. 5 minute launch - back to 0 fish and the game crashes again. I have constant 70 + FPS , hardware is NOT the problem as I have never encountered this problem before with any other game. I am like 28% done with the game and had about 20+ crashes and Im getting really salty over it. People pay for it - it's not free. Yet I found exactly ZERO resolved cases of this same exact problem. I am on PC btw.
