I agree with this. When I played the Siege of Paris, I went up against one of the Frankish Nobles. Gerswinda, a heavy cavalry on horseback. I wished that I could even the odds a bit by getting on horseback and attacking with a sword or a spear of some sort instead of kicking! I even tried that. I got knocked off by her spear. Trying to hit her with a sword or one of my abilities, was like trying to hit a fly with a fly swatter. Each time she hit me with her spear, it took nearly half of my health. It's very frustrating. You could make using melee weapons for Eivor a skill?

@rogosaurus_rex I have experienced the same thing after the new update. I was playing yesterday and I could not move when entering The Siege of Portcestre arc. There was a cut scene in the beginning and I had trouble getting Eivor to do anything. Eivor was frozen for about two minutes than I could get her to move. Again in the crypt...after the cut scene there.

Fast Travel, restarted the game...same thing.

I have encountered an error while attempting to take a picture in Photo Mode yesterday, last night and today. I use this Mode from time to time. It allowed my to take the picture but it would error out on me when it was done saving.
Here was the error message:

Online Service Error
A problem occurred while trying to connect to a Ubisoft online service. Please try again later.

I looked on the World Map to see if it took and there was a picture icon on the map but when I hovered over it with my PS4 controller, the community photo disappeared along with the rest of the photos. I tried restarting my PS4 and reloading the game. Same error code. I got off for a few hours then got back on at 7:00 last night. Tested it again. Same error code and same thing happened when I checked the World Map. Today, I played again. Tested the Photo Mode again. Same error. I am starting to think that I am playing "offline." Its still a bad*** game and I'll still play it. Has anyone else encountered this before?

@novydennovysen That is EXACTLY what happens to me...frustrates me. I sort of like to have PhotoMode working in case I would like to USE the damn thing! LOL

I have a question to clarify.
Recently I read to patch notes to the recent update 1.5.0. The part I I am confused on is this:

• New players can start the expansion at any time from the main menu with the player boost. You will start your journey at Power Level 340 with a predefined selection of gear and weapons.

and the extra skill nodes that we got, which is all well and good.

Do the players still have to pay for the DLC separately?

I was following the river on my boat and admiring the animation. My husband and I were just marveling at the work and the effort to make look to like you are actually there. There had been times when I was riding my horse somewhere and I made the motion to avoid hitting a tree branch! Each time I visit Jorvik and the things up there, I get really cold, even though it isn't. It's great!! You guys are doing a fantastic job!

Halfway between Readingum Abbey and the Henge Farm area, there is a world event where someone is by a barrel of ale and five Norse warriors dancing around it, in front an ale house. A bard is there playing music. After all that was said and done, I completed the event and then something very strange I have never seen before. As I was leaving, a caught a glimpse something as I was going past...one of the five Norse Warriors...?!? who was supposedly poisoned. I ran into him he made a noise so I know something was there!

I did the Odin's Search and a blue dot appeared on top of the warrior, as would any of my allies. The warrior went towards the lake. I followed him. I jumped in and found there were 3 more Norse Warrior bodies floating in the water. I thought maybe it was a glitch or a bug. I reloaded a previous game before and I did the same exact thing I did as I did before, testing my theory. Only THIS time when I returned from the lake, all five Norse Warriors were alive and well.

I went back to the water and returned. The warriors were there, but in different spots, still in front the ale house. Very strange indeed!!

Have anyone else experienced this? Is this a glitch?

I have a PS4. I recently got done playing. Constantly, I got the "New Quest" notifications with nothing underneath but 'track quest' with the recent download of latest update. I am in Ireland, just finished "War Efforts". I just done with clearing out Lisdurrow Trade Post with returning the deed. During the "War Efforts" quest, I experienced the empty New Quest notifications and then shortly afterwards the "Multiple Quest Accepted" notification. I immediately checked my quest log, and nothing for both. I thought maybe I stumbled upon a hidden quest or something...nope. The notifications stopped for awhile then came again on the way back to Dublin to work on the "Dublin's Reach" quest. I quit the game for the night.

I am just glad you guys are on top of this issue. Also I am also glad to help with any glitches or bugs such as this.
