@professor_ian The removal of Hydden gloves and the consequential loss of materials should definitely be compensated since it's Massive's fault that it happened. If Massive can't determine who lost resources because of their mistake, giving everyone a cache with enough printer filaments to fully level up one item wouldn't hurt the game since getting 1 item to full proficiency for free out of 343 is nothing.
@suspiciouspixel If so, this is a very bad and lazy fix for an irrelevant problem that causes actual problems for legit players. If farming boss keys and an inflated number of completions somehow bothers Massive after all this time and all other issues they should sort out first, they should make it so the key doesn't drop and the completion number doesn't increase unless a person actually completes the full raid which shouldn't be hard with all the data they track and log.
@butcher851 I'm pretty sure you can consider this gun as unavailable through drops because I also haven't found a single one after looting enough SMGs to be fully proficient in all but this one. The chances to not find even one during all the runs we both did must be exceedingly small. Given what the devs did with similarly unavailable Hydden gloves which were simply removed from the list with no compensation for people who donated towards them, I'd suggest holding off on donating materials for the UMP-45, because they just might remove this item as well after they realize it's not available. I'm sure you have other items you can donate towards so prioritize those and leave the UMP for last (you probably won't need it to get to level 20 anyway).
