@petteflet88 Yeah, but microsoft is the seller. Broken items should be refunded. Period. I put blame on them both. Even microsoft refused to issue a refund on diablo 3 I got on black friday after I requested one after the so called "cloud" and on the actual console erased a character, and gavesave. I spent 45 hours on it to get to level 70, and fully explore the game and lore so I can rift with friends and my game save erased, or didn't store to the cloud. I'm back to level 5. They said the same bullsheet "We don't refund games that have been played".
Then on top of that, if they know it's broken all digital SELLERS should cease selling it.
@petteflet88 Indeed. And microsuck will say "we can't refund games that have been played" It's all a bunch of bull. They sell a broken game, and no one wants to man up and refund anyone. I already filed for a refund and got denied. I am to the point that I am about to file a paypal dispute, and just go back to PC gaming, and give microsoft the middle finger and let them ban my account on pure principles.
Like the title suggests, when I launch the game it does one of two things: It loads all the way up until the message "The game auto saves when this appears". Then when the title screen is supposed to come up where you press "A" It just pure black, but with sound. Or it will load the title screen where it says "Looking for addons" and not let you proceed when you press "A" button, it will just keep reloading the title screen over and over in matter how many times you slam the "A" button. I am getting pretty angry, and frustrated at this point.
Yes I did what they told me to.
First, you will need to clear your Xbox One hard drive cache. To clear the cache on your Xbox One, you will need to power cycle the system. Power cycling will reset the network card and clear the cache.
1. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for about 5 seconds until the light behind it turns off. This will power off the console.
2. After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 2 full minutes.
3. Plug the console back in and turn it on using the Xbox button.
4. Launch the game, and see if the issue has been resolved.
Next, let's uninstall the game by doing the following:
5. On the Xbox One Dashboard, go to My Games & Apps.
6. Highlight the game, and press the Options button on your controller.
7. Select Uninstall Game + Add-ons.
Note: All DLC items can be re-downloaded.
None of that worked. All my other games are working fine. And this game worked fine up until the patch they released. I was able to clock 80 hours into the game, at a 37% finish rate. So I was doing loads of side missions and collecting stuff. I did also notice it told me alot "Can't connect to ubisoft servers" and "your game save is not synced with the cloud" messages alot in the time I played. So I hope the game also won't be erasing my game save. But back to the issue at hand, does anyone or has anyone had this issue on the original Xbox one? Not the x, s, or series x's.
