@ubi-milky So I managed to get another chance to play again today and to my surprise the sound was gone again. Weirdly, the audio device was still set from the last time (in the windows sound settings), so I changed it back to default, and sound came back. It's weird but it looks like I need to change audio device for the game to use it. It's an easy enough fix for me but there's definitely a bug there.

@ubi-milky Thank you, option 4 worked. Been a hectic week so only got back to this now. Everything was set to default in the advanced settings though, weird that other apps were using the correct device but this game seems to have been using something else. Forcing it to use the correct device worked though. All's well that ends well.

I was playing the game fine, went on holiday and got back on the 3rd of Feb 2022, found an update pending so I did the update. Now I don't have sound in game anymore. I'm playing on English so the change to English trick won't work. I've verified the game files. Sound is on, works with other games fine. I have no sound all the way from the intro to in game. Please help.
