I don't know whats the issue, then I tried googling other players reported error message once they try to reconnect for me it's a complete wall.

Basically for a moment everyone freezes in place I get kicked to the main menu because connection issue and instead of allowing me to reconnect, game instantly gives me Abandon Sanction penalty even though Match is far from over...
This happened twice within a week.

I tried restarting game, uplay, PC, it's as if I get kicked without the ability to come back at all.

Anyone else had something similar happen to them and any idea how to avoid this?

@ubi-milky I know the match in both cases wasn't over. I was literally getting DC'ed and few second later getting the penalty, otherwise I could join back right away, just missing 1 round at most.

If you have been disconnected from a match previously or left a match, the game will remember this and may give an abandonment sanction straight away.

By this you mean there is a system that gives me Abandon Penalty right away even if the match is far from over?

@ubi-spacecats My issue is not being disconnected, but the fact that I can't return to the match? Is this how it is supposed to work?
If my game crashes for example I can launch it again and rejoin ranked, why is this different?
