We need the staff ( in this case odins staff) as our main instrument.
"The Lines" are the nazca lines you'll find in the southern part of England.
We need to interact with those lines while having the staff equiped.
And as we know, ISU Weapons like Excalibur are "KEYS"
There is one place close to the lines where you can find a " KEY" .
and "we Break the barrier and reveal the truth" could mean we break the ilusion of Odins rune. We break the rune literally.
We reveal the truth of the runes. ( maybe a connection to Loki ? )
But definitely we will solve the nazca things
And now the last individual ogham carving i found.
(btw worked on this since yesterday 6pm CET ;D)
this was also the most dificult one tbh. dont know if its all correct.
MAIDAMAFBAQITOLQE maide má bac i tól pé Staff, break through/submerge, barrier, to do
IQAFIRN i pá fírían he/her, pay, paying off, Truth, Justice,
OAORSTILQITOR ó a´or stil qitor Acenstor, starting point/source/.... from, Gold/high value/wealth, dignitiy/Rank/honor
(Also here, the last one was very dificult)
"AN ANCESTOR FROM HIGH DIGNITY/RANK CAN BREAK THE BARRIER THE STAFF TO BRING TRUTH TO LIGHT/ REVEAL THE TRUTH"
thank you !
The first 2 Runes (arthur/Brendan) seemed very obvious afterwards cause a lot of names were included.
The other ones had a lot verbs etc. so i was using this dictionary to decode the ogham into old irish.
Somethimes the words didnt exist so i had to use similar words.
At the end im not sure if all this is 100% correct so if anybody could go over it and check it would be amazing !
Hey all !
I have another attempt !
What about those carving? Did anybody already translated those?
I know that this is ogham carving. i have one example picture here
The decoding from this should be: BRENAIN MAQIFINLUGI MUCOIALTI
my translation to this was:
BRENAIN = Raven/Odin
MAQIFINLUGI = Son i air/wind
MUCOIALTI = ? cliff (a different version of mucoi was translated to "pig")
I know that back in the days, they used primitive irish.
But i dont know to which language their referring cause ogham is just the alphabet not the language.
is it ogham to primitiv irish?
ogham to modern irish?
ogham to gaelic irish?
ogham to latin ?
This language is also found in some places where you can get parts for excalibur and mostly its found in the area around glowcaestershire.
@nash_trickster Damn guys ! Nice Background infos from all of you !
Maybe the Runes are something for the DLC or a Sneak peak or somehow.
One thing came into my mind.
If we wouldn't have found the runes randomly, how would ubisoft wants us to find the runes, cause the way we found them wasn't intended i guess

@shovelator isn't this an old poem ?
If youre talking about the moving circle when starting the game.
As far as i know, this was already translated.
Or do i missunderstand this ?
but i dont know where you can find the translation.
maybe if we search for " ac valhalla old rune poem" ?
@hroozenbeek while transcribting all those things i've used this website to more or less decode everything.
i was looking at all the words and comparing them with several words in regular irish on this site.
so at the end for one primitiv irish word i had several meanings. I collected them all and took the ones that seemed to be the most logic ones in the sentence.
@hroozenbeek interesting thoughts you all !
but i ask myself, from this far away, would it be possible to track the runes down even without knowing where they are?
i think if we find a method how to spot runes even without knowing where they are we can find more of them.
or do we have to see this from another angle?
do we have to draw the line in a reverse way from the rune to the altar and through the altar and see if its crossing with other "lines" ?
@hroozenbeek looks very legit to me but why is it mirrowed or written from top to bottom.
I've heard that some of those writings are written this way but mostly its from bottom to the top. maybe its like the mirrowed writing in the caves of glowecaester.
and why does my failed translation only include the 3 last writings that say " finding it on the lands of britannia on a specific day /time"
to many questions
