@ubi-mercury Should be the "Ulitmate-Edition", Digital Version bought over the XBox Store. Well, I think I still got the pre-order datas, but hard to say ... because I don't know what exactly are the pre-order bonuses and what belongs to packs that were included in the FC 6 version I bought.
Generally: It is also sad, that you only get your stuff (after starting a new game) after you go online with your save game.
I play offline most of the time, because there is ... ... well more important data traffic ...
But this also means, in a few years you can't start a new game with the items you bought, ... well you can get it, as long as the Ubisoft-Servers are supporting it.
(In Watch Dogs Legion, it is even worse, because the AC-Crossover ADd-On/DLC disappears, too, until you go online at least one time after starting a new game
In Assassin's Creed (Valhalla) you don't have the problem, becuase you have a manual save system.
(Get the new items/packs and save a game at start -> you can start a new game with all the items you bought.)
==> A reason why I won't collect packs in Far Cry 6 like in AC Valhalla
Tried to log-in like 15 times now ... well error #503 ... just to figure out, that I can't correct my own posts ... ... wow great new forum design ... realy ... highly professional ...
okay, I am out of here. (I go now delete my cookies - ... because here is even no Log-Out-Button anymore ... )
System XBox Series X
Had the pre-order datas of FC6 on my system (- digital version, think it was the most expensive one).
The 100MB big data just said: "My pre-order didn't work or has been canceled" and "I should buy the game".
I tried to reinstall my 100MB Pre-Order data thing. But that dind't worked. After de-installing it ... ... it is 100% gone and can't be reinstalled.
At least my Pre-Order-Bonuses are gone ... but ... I am even not sure to buy this game now -.-
So what now?! I am realy angry.
Also because this forum has now this ... chaotic fisher-price design with functions that contradicted a professional serious use.
Hey @password1234xxx ,
Thank you for confirming @inxcognito's suggestion was correct, glad to hear you've since been able to access the new River Raids!
We'll pass your feedback regarding this information being made more clear to the team as points to be aware of in future.
If there's anything more we can help with, please let us know!
Thanks; communications was a bit unclear. If no information on access (concerning the new River Raid Maps) is released, it is automatically assumed that there are no major requirements. (Never thought on a holy helmet, lol.)
I am a hard (and long ) working person. So it was disappointing to see that it doesn't work and that I run out of valuable time.
(Especially because of one line would have solved the problem.)
Anyway, I got the helmet of the Holy St.G ... guy - one of like 18-20 armors is complete now. Mostly I buy them ... and I rarely use them (... but I am happy with it).
And now I was able to check out the three new maps - ... and kill a werewolf (... yes, I like that).
The new maps look great (a bit better than the first 3 ones, because the landscapes vary more. The Design Elements from Ireland and France were realy pushed and well used, especially for the "Rin"-Map); I am glad it works now. At least for me.
@password1234xxx I think you need to complete the questline from the first 3 River Raids in order for new ones to appear
Okay, mega strange, but inxcognito, you are 100% right.
I was forced to find the last part of the armor (helmet) of that holy guy first, until the new river raids started to appear.
Okay, thanks for the help - at least in my case.
But still: I am pretty disappointed: One line from Ubisoft in the Patch Notes would have realy helped me and my realy scarce time.
>> To start the new River Raid Missions/ to unlock the three new River Raid Maps you need to complete all Missions of the first three River Raids first/ unlock the whole armor of the Holy St.G...whatever. <<
Anyway, thanks for the help @all. Hope the issues of the other ones can be solved in within in short time, too.
Re-Installing the whole game now ... means like 5h wait for the DL, including all DLCs.
Thx for that. Will it fix the bug?! Well ... I guess NOT.
P. S. Also this forum is much worse than the ones under "forums.ubisoft" (like for the Far Cry Franchise) -> Posts editing limited to 10 min ... wow someone loves typos and text glitches.
Also it is very confusing regardings it's whole layout.
I don't see 3, nor I don't see 1 new river raid.
Nothing new on the river raid map or in the Quest Menu.
(Also the other bugs I mentioned are were never fixed:
- After starting a mastery challenge, my boat(s) (normal and river raid one) will be resteted to the standard model (... so why buy all the packs for the boat?!)
- If I visit Asgard or Nilfheim the deer (riding animal) looks like a walking grafic-glitch, as long as I don't have a horse or a deer selected in the "normal world" ...
I have the feeling that I won't get the new river raids, too. Shouldn't buy anything more for that game -.- )
Live service online = no offline = DRM just for DRM's sake = Game will die when the servers one day go offline.
No thank you.
"Live service" does not necessarily mean that you have to be always online; nor does it mean that it is a synonym for MMO [ = massive multiplayer online [game]].
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is partial already a live service online game already. (Like the festivals ... which I personally don't care and don't realy like. But also with the new items and DLCs, that are only accessible online.)
In the last weeks I played AC I on my 360 ... the emulator on the XBSeriesX crashed all the time. Now I play AC II (Ezio's Collection).
For me, I play mostly to calm down and relax. And as far as I know, it isn't just me.
I guess, the most helix packs were sold to ppl like us ... single players who spend a lot of money into DLC.stuff which no one exept themselves will see
Every game resp. franchise but also each company has different target groups ... I am sure Ubisoft knows this and will take care about these aspects.
... well, if not: I am 100% with your post.
Just a few shorter comments to "Assassin's Creed Infinity", altough it will be out around 2024 (as long as it is not discarded) and I am still more excited in the 'Paris DLC' and the whole next season for Assassin's Creed Valhalla (!) (including the teased mythical worlds from the norse mythology) - ... well, here are my thoughts.
[My personal oppinion - nothing more or less:]
1st: I personally can't rate something that is even not totally planed in it's first work cycle. There are a few rumors and confrimed general aspects but, ... nothing big to rate her for the moment.
2nd: I think Ubisoft is not sure, too, if this is idea is a good or a bad one; same as a lot of fans and customers. It is not realy possible to ask directly, but I think to confirm these "totally accidently leaked"(?) infos are something like: Let's totally accidently leaked check the reaction - or: "Indirectly ask the fans/customers". And this again means: A lot of key aspects might change; depends on the collected reactions ... and of course the given ones from "us".
3rd: Assassin's Creed already tried to go a bit more into the multiplayer direction with Assassin's Creed Unity. Not a bad game (now), but I personally don't think that the multiplayer aspect is an important aspect. It doesn't played a big role ... or a bit harder said: Maybe: The game could have been better without a few of these (more annoying) multiplayer details (like forced coop-missions). Let the players choose if they want play alone or not. Don't sell one group the "half game". Plus:
Assassin's Creed Origins (2017), Assassin's Creed Odyssey (2018), Assassin's Creed Valhalla (2020 - still supported) - all these games are mainly focussed in single-player (!) campaigns, missions and other aspects like secrets, exploration and so on.
It would be a bad idea to discard this key aspect. Also this won't fit into the RPG-game-like style/direction in which Assassin's Creed moved with the last titles successfully. But - probably rightly - not without controversy.
--> Single-player: Yes: This also includes playing the games offline (!).
For me and a lot of people I know who play Ubisoft's games (mostly Assassin's Creed and Far Cry) it is an important psychological aspect to be able to play these games offline and alone [... after a hard work day full of annoying people ]
It also means: Have time for yourself (and forget time and pressure) ... ... the subjective deadline of an finite world, because the serves will be shut down in a bunch of years (--> and the game won't be playable anymore), won't be good at all. A 2nd main argument to make these games playable offline (!).
--> So, as long as it is something like a hub, in which you can (also) download the games you bought; and also play them for yourself (if you want), I am alright with the idea.
4th: The unconfirmed rumor that this game or hub will be "super expensive" is ... well as said: just a unconfirmed and maybe political charged rumor.
Ubisoft has not the cheapest games, but (after Assassin's Creed 2) they use fair prices ... mostly.
I am not a fan of microtransactions - but I am one who didn't hate them either; as long as they are not misused (!). If a game looks cool and you don't need to buy stuff or unlock critical missions with a lot of your money, I am okay with it.
I already spend a lot of money in Assassin's Creed Valhalla on things that no one would see - except myself. No one forced me ... otherwise, I wouldn't have done it!
But - yeah - I like it to have these (senseless) decorations :), because I like the game and the style ... plus: If my money flows into other great games, that won't be sold overpriced (!) because I buy expensive (and not very useful) things for the game before; and more people can play these new games - why not?!
--> I guess in Assassin's Creed Infinity, it would be similar to the fact like it is now: The main game(s) will be not cheap, but not overpriced. Other things, like "skins", weapons or "decoration" will be there and it will cost more. But you are not forced to buy one item, pack, or even all items. (... a lot of don't need, but they will. Why not?! )
So, these were my words to this rumored aspect without rating something that isn't existing.
5th: The chance to add new games/ game parts into Assassin's Creed Infinity/ the Assassin's Creed Infinity 'Hub' is a chance also to add smaller - maybe also more experimental or also more classic (stealth gameplay (!)) titles/ game parts. Which is a good thing, or not?
6th: I just have the whish: Plan a start and plan an end for the Game/ Game Hub, Ubisoft.
Even if the title is just for the new console generation: Technology and the society (customers) change fast. (I think you know better than I do.)
==> And: The chances to deliver a game to someone who never played an Assassin's Creed game decline as longer as Assassin's Creed Infinty is out.
E. g.: In the 4th year of Assassin's Creed Infinity the super cool SpinOff that is now aviable in/for Assassin's Creed Infinity wouldn't reach people who don't use Assassin's Creed Infinity but would like and buy that new super cool SpinOff.
>> Why should they buy (even if it is for free) or join the Assassin's Creed Infinity 'Hub'? It is big, it looks complicated ... and they don't have other games of that franchise, they don't know the lore and and and ... << Many people like it simple, even if they themselves are complicated. (low-threshold access)
--> The range of a (for example) SpinOff is limited to more "core fans/customers" and this might create untapped chances to get new people/player/customers into the franchise.
It would be an "in"- and "out"side of Assassin's Creed Infinity. And: Why should people come "in" after 3, 4, 5 or even 6 years? (After the big hype is gone?)
So, Ubisoft: No pressure, no stress, everything nicely relaxing ... but do not disappoint us (!).
After playing or replaying any Mastery Challenge, both of my boats (normal and the river raid one) lose their individual design; ... and I have to choose again and again it's appearance.
Won't play the Mastery Challenges any more, as long as this glitch isn't fixed.
Plus - I hope you don't need to get gold in all of them to unlock something great. I just don't have time to play super slow on stealth so I won't get spotted at all. It's simply not my style. Why do I need to get a 0 "mistake" try to get gold?! 1000 points are max. and only 1000 gives gold
(The reason why a lot of ppl hated some missions in the older AC Games (especially AC III) is back Detected 0,1 sec - instand lose. ... very realistic ).
@password1234xxx I was looking to find a source via which I can view the live stream and just found this thread with a video link for the event. I'm interested in not only viewing the event but also to benefit from whatever rewards as a result of watching as mentioned for watching the event/ conferance. On another thread I saw you have to watch on Twitter but I don't have Twitter nor a Twitter account (nor want to have one).
What I want to find out is once I am logged in here and click on the video livestream link or its associated Youtube link on post #1 would that suffice and by so doing Ubisoft would know that I am watching or have watched the livestream and would also benefit from the rewards?
I don't know anything about a reward for watching Ubisoft Forward. Sadly, I can't answer your question. I am just interessted in the shown things at Ubisoft Forward - especially Assassin's Creed and Far Cry.
ps Sry the missing R in the title
Well, to be honest, I am not up to date about posted ideas for upcoming Assassin's Creed Games. But a friend wanted me to post an idea which isn't bad:
Nothing super strange, but I think (in this combination) pretty new:
A weapon Editor for the melee weapons used by the portagonist - contains visual and performance aspects. Pretty similar to the system that already exists in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but with the option to edit more details.
Imagine it like this: You [as a player] use the inventory or you have to go a weaponsmitch/ a weapon shop (depends on exact time period); you can modify your weapon (similar to fire arms in a few FPS today):
[Visual:] You can change the color of the metal, change the sword's pommel, add some details and effects (sound, grafic/sprites) and so on. (Nothing to crazy - don't risk to create accidently a "circus game").
[Performance:] You could add manually and detailed preformance/ strength points to a weapon. It depends on it's level and your character level how high you could go and maybe what special abilities/ spells you can use for a weapon.
[Name:] You can give your weapon a name - why not - makes it more personal. (Maybe no special symbols.)
Also there could be something like an online "swap meet", where you can share your modifications with others or give away your old weapons for in-game ressources or money. [No real money used here!]
[Microtransactions:] (Sry @those who realy hate this word - I know, but it is not the fact Microtransactions exist; it is the fact that it was abused so often to get your money while you just want to play a game ... ... For me, they are alright as long as these things are 100% optional! Means also: A game should include very cool e. g. weapons and it should be beatable without buying some Add-Ons or even ressources. Just bought the "Knight of the Round Table"-Pack ... one of my biggest bought. Just a few weapons before. Why? Because I like it's look. Nothing more, nothing less. And this is okay for me. It should stay this way ... at all costs! )
Especially design and visual components could be sold in the Ubisoft-Shop. [What of course doesn't mean: Make things more expensive, just because you get only a pommel and not a whole sword for the same price! (Better not ... well ... just check what happended to "Dead or Alive 6") >;/ ]
I imagine it more like this: The items are as same as expensive as now for Assassin's Creed Valhalla (no wait - maybe a bit cheaper ) - you buy a whole sword and then you can use it's visuals partly to modify your weapon.
Or: You buy a design pack: Means like 5 different materials for the blade, or 15 new symbols as decoration. Maybe even letters: So you can write something on the blade (?)
The idea doesn't have to contain all weapons in a game - some could be just standard (especially used by normal foes). You - as a player - could also use these weapons.
On the other side: Not only swords should be editable. Bows, axes, spears etc. could be to.
I think, the friend who gave me this idea is right: It is the next logical step, if the Assassin's Creed Franchise goes this - more RPG-like - path. But he also mentioned: What about a Spin-Off that contains all classic Assassin's Creed things? Smaller Map, Stealth, Templers and similar societies.
Well, also a Templer Spin-Off would be cool, too [my idea]: Needs a whole new gameplay - not much parkour ... more strategy and tactic.
I noticed that the deer/buck [riding animal] in the mentioned maps ("dreamed"-maps) looks normal, if I choose a horse in the main world. I used the Lion (DLC) - which might cause this bug, I guess because of it's other proportion.
Horse in the main world - no bug in the "dreamed"-maps with the deer/buck as riding animal. Looks normal.
Lion in the main world - ugly bugged deer/buck as riding animal.
Not tested if it can be triggered by other "cats" (like lynx) as riding animals or: If it also fixes the problem with the fail of the qucik saves.
(And I don't have time to test it atm - sry. Already big sleep deficit. )
I know that a lot of ppl at Ubisoft are stressed atm, but I hope these problems will be fixed soon.
This forum design is very unclear. I don't know if there is a bug-thread already or not (I don't have time to check it). So, here are the hard facts:
- Major Bug
- After visiting Asgard or [the other lore-map, which name can't be translated anywhere in English; the "winter land"] the quick saves don't work anymore, even if you leave these maps again.
- The deer/buck (riding animal) in these maps looks realy bugged (face, eyes, legs ... everything disorted)
- The game crashes ofter by visiting these maps
- One manual save game was creadted corrupt
- System XBOX Series X / XBOX One
Assassin's Creed Valhalla, XBox One, digital Version (one of the expensive ones, don't know which one know)
Upgraded my quiver 3x on Level 4. It didn't work and my warrior can still carry the same amount of arrows.
The resource used is about 33% - 50% as those contained in a "small resource pack"/"Animus-Shop". This means that I get in addition around 150 Helix-Points now; because I am not able to use my upgraded quiver at the moment.
I am a very busy person and I still play the main quest. One primary target escaped because I was out of arrows while using the (bugged) Lvl 4 quiver; plus: I had to use even more time and ressources to destroy the whole hostile outpost (... since young people might be here, I do not give any details.)
Please fix the problem and send me the compensation as soon as possible.
Thanks and have a good day.
