Agree for this. Let players turn off intro videos on startup, go straight to screen to hit key to connect to Ubisoft servers.
The problem is the way people play.
They play with specific loot target and grind the same main mission or Summit with multiple directives to go after that one particular item.
The most varied enjoyable way to play is to ignore having a target gear or target gear in mind. Continuously match make main missions and let good loot flow in naturally and create different builds simultaneously. You're supposed to enjoy the journey as well. So just make do with what gear you do find and avoid optimising anything unless last 2% as it is so easy to get good rolls just by playing over time. Hoard those materials for the last little bit of optimising only.
Every exotic I ever initially owned with a good/perfect roll was dropped by other players.
Bought the game on sale in Nov 2020 and now have near perfect for every build below. Got nothing else to work towards now and regret rushing.
As per title, would be good to be able to match make any difficulty per region.
i.e.
Only use them for Named Caches. It is the only way you can get some DZ exclusive items. All over global event star purchases are easily obtained normally.
There was one time I had 16 stars and bought then immediately opened 2 named caches in same minute and received the exact same item. Not very RNG lol. So out of habit I wait few minutes in between if I have 16 or 24 stars to spend in one go.
Wow so many posts in few days about this.
It might be MUCH better exposure to public if this was posted about on Ubisoft's twitter instead?
Seems if you use random match making and don't have a fixed team:
Go easy match making/solo and get all the way to Milestone 30, no silencers. Pretty much unlikely to ever lose operator this way. All operators would of reached rank 10 by final milestone.
XP required between Milestones is consistent and not exponential increase. So 7-9 games you reach next milestone.
Then enjoy match make higher difficulties knowing you've unlocked everything now so no matter if MIA, even if milestone goes down what you've unlocked is not lost.
Extract MIA on easy mode then return to higher difficulty.
Thank you for this game!
I want to say how much this latest game AC Valhalla has in so many accessibility and gameplay options.
I like how it has separated difficulty levels for combat, stealth and exploration.
The "Guaranteed Assassination" option is great too and makes it more rewarding for stealth.
Some people may complain game is too easy on easy or too hard on hard etc.
But at least this time player is given plenty choice to choose how they want to play. Easy exploration and normal combat difficulty for me.
Now I can just focus on main quest/side missions and only touch side activities of Wealth/Mysterty locations only when it is nearby. No more checklist travelling around (unless you go hard difficulty I guess). Yes I am missing out on alot of content by skipping 90% of Wealth/Mysterty locations, but at least I'm not forced into it and can skip as my own choice and focus on story quests.
I am 45Hrs in and still 2-3 areas of map left in England, even though I'm just doing main / side quests skipping checklist locations!
Would of been nice to show whole skill tree so I know path I want i.e. if I want to build a tank for high defence.

It doesn't have the depth of Division 2. Short number of weapons, but at least quite a few gadgets to choose from.
It is very simple gameplay but a small amount of tactical, but depth of a mobile phone game. Progression feels like it too.
No bugs or problems with the game. Short bursts of fun shooting. I like the game, but I think price vs value isn't quite there.
Cross play will maximise match making. Shame Division 2 does not have that.
Progression later will definitely stall or take very long if you don't have a consistent set of friends as doing it with randoms is roulette mostly.
MIA operators causing backtrack of progress will cause many players to consider it annoying. But you can choose lower difficulty to play it safe but means longer to gain XP.
The quick play is strange in that quick play doesn't let you choose difficulty to match make with. So you're stuck with specific difficulty per region in match making. You can only choose difficulty when playing solo. i.e San Francisco, can only match make "cautious" difficulty but you can't choose to match make same region at lower difficulty. To play lower difficulty below the one region sets means going solo.
If you want to pull MIA operators back into service, seems best way is to go solo on low difficulty. So feels like easy work around.
Overall it has simplicity of a mobile phone game. Should cost at most 20-30 bucks only.
This forum software is terrible. Would be better to have poster's name and avatar beside to the left of posts like pretty much every other forum software out there and better font like Verdana size 10
I mean look at forums from other websites that look more clean.

It is a shame no acknowledgement from Ubisoft on various things all over this forum. There is good response on technical support, but issues of toxic team mates and penalties have no acknowledgement to show consideration is passed onto developers.
Player disconnects penalty - I would imagine difficult to identify if someone has ISP problem vs purposely pulling ethernet cable. i.e. player reconnects but game session is already over then they shouldn't be penalised because they had intention to rejoin team mates. If a player is cheeto and not revivable, let them leave without penalty as no team benefit for them to spectate only.
Simple. I've come up with right idea to solve. Problem is how to submit this idea.
They could of made Extraction itself part of a additional game mechanic.
Imagine you hit extraction, timer starts counting down, chopper is heard by aliens then they know it is time to rush. Intense.

Ah yes I also confirm this is true. Whether cross play is on or off - It is cross play match making always on.
I can imagine though some PC players would prefer cross play off, but unable to now.

There is the official discord for R6 Extraction.
https://discord.com/invite/r6extraction: (https://discord.com/invite/r6extraction)
Initially there will be usual people LFG which can be tedious, but once you build up friends list of regulars across time zones you won't even need discord anymore because they will have +1 even when you don't as well.
First time I joined some Division 2 discord servers, in 1 week had like 40 friends of genuine players. I learnt being humble, polite and just conveying things in diplomatic way got me into 8 player raid groups on Division 2.
Discord is the real match making service. In particular platform is no longer an issue in this game I love, you don't even have to ask if they're PC, xbox or ps

Many thanks and appreciated

Hi
It only started to occur after the recent maintenance below. Before that it was always "On" when starting the game.

Many thanks
Hi @ubi-smash
Thanks for response.
I've attached screenshot to show I made effort to reinstall I also deleted my profile saved data for clean start.
Unfortunately same issue.
Please see link below to YouTube video I made. (You can switch video quality to 1080 HD to see bit more clearly. Apologies did it off my phone)
Unsure if platform specific or happening on all platforms.
Every time I load game I have to turn cross play "On" but if I restart game and go to options I find it is toggled to "Off". So I have to turn "On" every time I start the game.
Can someone else confirm same thing happens to them? Especially playstation.
Expertise is a grinding mechanic disguised as "content". It will make people focus on particular gearsets for preferred builds first i.e. raid builds before moving to grind on next gearsets.
Wondering if the brand/gearsets need to be fully optimised prior to benefit from grade increase or not.
Even if new exotics were released. Won't need more than 10-15 rolls using exotic components and optimise last few % to max it.
So if you can mule it, great. If not then I wouldn't like keep like a 100.
I think exotic weapons were designed to be situational and/or BIS for certain builds, not all builds.
Scorpio is good for tanky builds because its designed for close range, higher base therefore burst damage and whilst in that build be able to tank. Good escape weapon to stun to get away too if cornered i.e. skill builds that can't DPS. The only weapon where talent can stack if multiple people use same weapon.
Ravenous - Good for stacking razorback weakpoint damage in Dark Hours, Interupting Iron Horse last boss attacks or against mechanical dogs. So not much use elsewhere i.e. main missions/summit. It is an out of cover weapon as can't shoulder swap whilst in cover. It is a secondary weapon for black tusk boomers/dogs when they show up when someone else has aggro from it.
Eagle Bearer was so nerfed so much that an M4, Famas, Carbine 7 etc with Damage to targets out of cover is better. The Eagle's talent isn't a damage talent. It has use in PvP if you can down just 1 agent (Don't even have to get a kill to proc, just down) to get you enough time to try to take down 2nd player tanking for few secs. But in PvP weapon wise it is all shields and in sync anyway. It is an inconsistent survival talent, a talent you don't want to purposely use i.e. You want to hit headshot then quickly kill 3 enemies to survive initial damage taken without any additional DPS reward. Strange way to play.
Alot of new players are screaming out in discord for Eagle bearer, but they will be disappointed once they realise the best weapons are in general loot drops without doing raid.
From history if too many people complain something is too OP they tended to nerf it.
