Hi,
So when trying to play with my friend in Far Cry 6 co-op, he gets disconnected after ~about a minute with the error bookworm-2cea2bdc.
We had this issue with New Dawn, in which this particular error code seems to be a ping related problem. He is in Denmark, I am in New Zealand. We played Far Cry 5 together, start to finish, zero issues. I spent a lot of time in the New Dawn forums to finally be told "Oh it's a ping limiter, if the ping is too high it disconnects you." Hoped Far Cry 6, being a full sequel rather than a mini game wouldn't have this issue.
It should be up to us whether the ping is too high to play, not up to an arbitrary system programmed in to the game.
My NAT is open, we can play together with zero issues for that minute, so it's definitely playable.
An answer from Ubisoft on whether this is intended and whether they would consider removing this crap would be really grand. We waited a long time to play Far Cry 6 together and it's really disheartening to run in to this issue again.
Cheers.
My friend and I were playing co op and we found a door that said "Go to Prison Camp". We went through it and now whenever I am the host, we spawn in the ocean. We can see the island but are unable to swim to it as it is "Outside of the memory". There is no land in any other direction, though it shows up when we swim to the NW on the map but not in game. As such, my game is completely buggered. If I die and start a new vision, I'm in the water. Some way to reset this would be grand as I was quite keen to play some today while my friend is sleeping but my only option at this point is to play with him hosting.
Cheers.
A response from Ubisoft would be appreciated.

@mechatofu if your friend hosts the game it should let you play from the start, as world state only saves for the host
I've tried swimming halfway around the bloody island then drowning, still spawn in the same spot. It's aggravating, if you swim under the water when it says "Edge of subconscious", you can see a line in the sand that shows where the island 'map' ends. So we're outside the border of the game world. Which is nuts
@ubi-viral I appreciate the responses but at this point it really is more than an inconvenience. We can't play the DLC we paid for. It is an item which has been sold which is not able to be used for its intended purpose. This needs a fix ASAP.
@ubi-borealis
Took a break. Came back.
Still in ocean.
Still can't play the DLC I paid for.
This is getting beyond ridiculous.

@ubi-viral Nope, it was the first door we found
I believe when we used the door we died then respawned in the ocean. I can't provide a video though someone in the thread has. I'm unable to do anything but swim around in an endless ocean so am unable to get back to the actual game world. We can't swim TO the island, it's outside the memory.
We had just done the upside down house in the water and were exploring. Nothing else strange happened until I tried to open that door.

Would still really love a response from Ubisoft regarding this. Is it intended? If so, will it be removed as per Far Cry 5 or is it a 'feature' as of New Dawn?
Just so we know where we stand and people can make a choice regarding whether or not to purchase a game they may be unable to play with the person/s they intended to play with.
A response from Ubisoft would be appreciated.
