Wow Ubisoft, wanna fix your game's fundamental parkour yet?
Reference video on how parkour SHOULD work! See 2:30 of video
Real gamer experience in same location:
Here's another for you Ubisoft...
With much grievance, this is one of my many attempts to bring this issue from the PS5 version of the game to your attention.
Character Stops shimming trees and cannot climb anomalies and buildings despite: (The climb becomes an obstacle no less than a blank canvas of obstruction)
- Resetting controls
- Retrying the same area after reboot
- Reinstall of the game copy
However, the character COULD perform those feats prior to patch 1.0.4 without any hindrance whatsoever.

Videos outlining the issue:
Other known issues include an issue with menu selections in the game User interface where the Accept/Deny controls are reversed. Upon selection of a menu option, e.g. Treasure map or other inventory options the "X" Accept button does not return a respond. You must press "O" the cancel command on your controller to conduct the intended action instead of "X" for Accept.
Look forward to your team on acknowledging and adding this to the plethora of issues being worked on to address and mitigate these items as the core component of fundamental parkour is halting game synchronization, exploration and ultimately progress within the promised franchise.
Old thread here:
Just going to leave another video evidence of the progress halting issue to the wall of neglect here......good pun on this one........"wall of neglect"
Would someone at UBISOFT provide this the attention it deserves or at the very least move this post to the appropriate section where it might?
Can someone help? This is an issue on the PS5, posting with media evidence to hopefully rectify it with UBISOFT.
Here is your game controls which specify how to climb: (Given the fact that I have played every AC entry, these haven't changed since AC 3)
Here is the issue presented to the user:
The very same happens when you try to climb the last pillar in an anomaly, the character just WON'T budge!
Unfortunately even after switching the controls and resetting them, nothing changed, it would appear the glitch fest shall continue on this franchise, quite disappointing for a game that has obtained over 14 years of progressive revenue from us and yet their baseline mechanism of parkour has not been perfected.
Let me give it a try tonight, will post my findings shortly
This is getting game breaking and time consuming Ubisoft......since patch 1.0.4 - I'll leave this here to be addressed in your next update in hopes that you might value real-time gamer input
-Anomalies' cannot be climbed to retrieve the last data packet
-Buildings cannot be climbed almost completely (Half way through a tower climb or synchronization spot, character cannot proceed)
-Random crashes to the game happen at any given time
-Inability to loot certain items
-Trees intended for climbing cannot be traversed half way leaving the user only one option - Jump off.......
-During raids, once you climb the ship's mast, you simply cannot parkour across the mid section (same with the trees above)
Ubisoft any updates as I am unable to climb ledges in anomalies as well as in several towns, this is halting game progress to a stand still as data packets cannot be collected and synchronizations cannot be achieved!
Been trying to climb and synchronize a checkpoint in Ledecestre and experienced this hindrance at 5:51 in below stream
Also it has come to my attention that when you select any command at the menu screen or any area of the user interface to executed, (non-re;ated to gameplay) a notification which would normally appear as "are you sure you want to perform this action?" has now become unresponsive and the controls of it reversed indefinitely.
Once you press X - (Button assigned to accept), it dismisses the notification with no response returned to the player. However, if you press O (Button assigned to cancel) it takes you to the next screen.
Anyone else experiencing the same on PS5 and if so, do any known resolutions exist?
