@mofalon I'm not sure why you keep mentioning the texture pack here. The issue is not with the HD texture pack itself. The issue appears even for people that never installed that. The base game textures don't load ok. That's what people are complaining about.

Do you have FIidelityFX Super Resolution on? and if yes with what settings? - NO
Do you have Fidelity FX CAS on or off? - OFF
@mofalon Yes, they do, but even on the lowest settings, the textures load up fine, but once you switch weapon or fast travel, the textures get messed up and blurry (below LOW quality)
I've just upgraded to Windows 11. I started Origins today and I have a really annoying issue with voices: whenever a character (npc) is behind the camera the voice has a very low volume. This is especially annoying when having follow or escort quests and the NPC is walking, behind the camera and also having a conversation with Bayek. I can hear his voice fine, but almost nothing of the NPC is intelligible.
My setup is stereo, I'm using a pair of Edifier speakers, connected to my motherboard optical output. I've used this setup for years - including playing Origins - but this issue never appeared.
Is there anything I can do here? Has anyone else experienced this?
@kevinsyslo2 Either way, it changes nothing for me. VRAM usage and performance is the same in both scenarios. 6.6-6.7GB(after 15 minutes of playing) and about 80FPS with all on Ultra and RT reflections, with a 3070.
Another thing to add, the issue appears everytime even if I set everything to low or medium and no RT. Even in low I have good textures in most places and the exact materials are affected by the ultra-ultra low textures
@bladerunner4077 As I said before, on my 3070, even if I turn to the low preset, the issue still persists. The same very low textures remain very low, while other things that are good quality in ultra, remain sharp and clear, even if a little lower quality. So the issue is something else.
@as1r0nimo CP2077 is amazing, and it runs so good even with pshycho RT... and it has real RT, including lighting that is implemented in a very good way. My 3070 runs it so smooth at max (45-50FPS and with DLSS even better, 60-70)
..... So they're doing something?

@ubi-theberry
After trying a lot of things, including testing other games, it seems that this issue is not isolated to Origins. BF5, Fallout 76, other Ubisoft games, all had issues here.
I've checked and changed between all settings available in Windows and the Realtek control panel. I've also changed the inputs for my speakers( from optical to normal 3.5mm jack). Nothing helped.
The only thing that helped was when I switched to my Hyper X USB headphones (so actually a different sound card, the one integrated in the USB cable). Everything was fixed.
After this, I suspected that the Realtek drivers were the issue. Following this, I entered Device Manager and I manually selected the driver from the list - High Definition Audio Device (I guess this is the Windows default driver) - and everything got fixed with the audio.
The only thing now is that I can't use the Realtek control panel anymore (not a big deal).
So, in the end, if anyone experiences this, try doing what I did; I guess maybe in the future Realtek will release ok drivers for Windows 11.

@bladerunner4077 Oh... f that... I'm not going through that crap just for 1GB and also an irrelevant patch.... I quit this game. Uninstall and canceling Plus. Glad I didn't buy it.
How big is this update?! I'm running out of stuff to delete off of my SSD for it to download...

@bladerunner4077 It's weird that resolution scaling down doesn't work like that... I've just tested upscaling: I set it to 2x, so I guess internal resolution of 5120x2160, and I literally got 3fps. It was crazy! Also, VRAM usage maxed out, of course, got to 8010MB. However, after playing around a bit and fast traveling... I got no blurry textures. Everything was sharp. The weapons did have low textures, but in seconds, the higher resolution textures loaded in.
I tried to get lower ingame indicator usage. I had all on Ultra, reflections on, 2560x1080, everything else default. Ingame showing 4.45/7.45.
I loaded up in a city (don't remember the name, in the East coast). From the start I had 6906MB usage with Afterburner.
Changed rendering resolution to 0.7, so that I get below 4.2, I had 4.13/7.45.
Restarted the game, checked the settings to see if they remained, all good.
Entered the game, same place, almost exactly the same usage.... 6800 and something MB... how would resolution decreasing not use even less VRAM?! I don't even get 100MB less doing this...
