Don't know if it is happening for other players, possibly many have already completed this before auto loot skilling but post patch i had come across the quest went to complete it by shooting the draft, killing the man etc but the quest never ended, I tried reloading, quitting, chaning areas nothing. Upon doing more research guides had stated that you need to loot corpse to complete the quest. I then reloaded an earlier save, killed the lunatic with a bow and viola world event completed. Seems there's an issue with auto looting the body doesn't trigger the end objective!
