Ok, I get it, rewards are not a really big thing in RR... but come on, sometimes, you could have thrown a little something for all the work done...

Little yesterday, I completed all 23 stunts... ALL 23 STUNTS!!! And you win... nothing! Thank you very much!

This is so frustrating! Now I know for sure I won’t be chasing those 500 balloons!

How annoying is it when you start a race... 3... 2... 1... GO! and you’re character goes in the totally wrong direction, like 90 degrees right from where you look and where you supposed to go?!? AWESOME stuff, haha!

Happens to me times to times for no reasons, mostly on ski events!

I agree! This is by far the most problematic part of the game: the whole online experience is a mess:

-Allow people to be « non-contact » in race. It’s so frustrating to lose like 10 races in a row because someone bumps into you before the first check point! Especially when you are doing all of that because it’s an objective like a sponsor and you spend hours on that!

-I agree, the checkpoints could have a little bit more of tolerance too! It’s extreme sports game, not a car racing simulation, you can’t expect us to be precise by the inch in there! Those races where you look for the perfect trajectory are the more frustrating with that: rocketwing, downhill ski... how many time did I miss a checkpoint and lost the race even if I WAS in the blue part AND on the race path!

-And yeah, do something about the playlist on FFA races, this is getting ridiculous! I don’t even know how much time I lost with that thing:

• Contracts asking to participate to FFA air races, only to discover that there’s no way to complete that contract because no air races in the playlist.
• Contracts asking to finish top 3 in FFA snow races and for some reason, all I get is bike races (and if by chance I get to play a snow race, back to the bumping issue!).
• Playing mostly road races... Ho my god, how stupid is that! Sure, we bought Rider Republic, a extreme sports freeride game for that: road bikes. Come on!!!

-And the matchmaking has issues as well! Since I reached division 7, I almost can’t find sessions... It has to go to super extended mode and it takes like 5 minutes each time to find a race. Long, boring, annoying!


So I don’t know for the others but it’s that way for me now: If I end up in FFA races, it’s not for fun or because I want to! It’s because a contract asks for it and I no it will be a painful experience, thanks Ubisoft!

Same here! Around level 40, getting the same (lame) bikes lover and over! And by the time you unlock sponsor gear, it’s already obsolete! So now I’m sitting on a bunch of useless bikes and hoping to get a good one one day!

I agree, the 3rd person camera is so bad...

-Wrong height: either to low or to high but always masking something with your character.
-Wrong positioning: to see what you’re doing (look at where the camera is when wingsuiting)
-Never looks where it should: inside of turns, looking up when climbing... so many situations where you rind half blind!
-If you happen to touch the camera stick it takes ages to reset and your more or less screwed!

And because of that, I started to play 1st person... and it’s awesome!!! It makes the game way more unjoyable for anything racing! I switch to 3rd for points and free roaming. Try it, bike races are sick in first!

Am I the only one getting frustrated by the check points being to precise?

I think they need some sort of tolerance so you still get it if you miss it by like 2 inches... Maybe making them 10% smaller but with 10% tolerance, I don’t know.

It’s sometimes getting frustrating when loosing a super messy race because you was off by an inch... because of colisions!

Or like that Holy Bike race where in Bryce canyon, you can squeeze between the wall and the checkpoint and miss it for some reason... even if the gap is like less than one foot wide! You shouldn’t be able to miss a checkpoint that way!

Or when people create crappy races where checkpoints are in the air between jumps and you miss them because you went a little over or under the checkpoint!

I think there is a huge problem with race creation tool... where there’s a ton of problems with that feature but this one is a huge one:

The fact that you don’t have to fully test and complete your creation before publishing it! Maybe you thought « But people will be smart, of course they will test their thing before publishing it, that’s common sense! ». Well maybe people don’t...

So you end up in races that can’t even be completed because of a misplaced checkpoint, a bug or a wrong starting line!

It’s even more infuriating when you HAVE to play those crappy content because a sponsor asks « complete user created content »!

This need to be fixed so events published are quality, playable content... not random unfinished unplayable mess!

@dawset Even in road races it’s horrible. How many times did I got pushed when trying to clean pass a rider and then missed a checkpoint because of that? Or hit an obstacle because of that (that road race with all the obstacles is horrible with others)? Or hit the bike of a guy who crashed in from of me? This is stupid... that game is far from being precise enough for that!

It’s how we do stuff in france now: anounce things and don’t deliver, start things but never fully complete them, treat your customers like [censored] and try to rip them off any cent they have left... Good concepts done by lazy people! Welocme to France everyone!

On that challenge where you have to complete 10 events with funkies, it’s not always working... it depends on what type of gear and/or event your use. For example it worked two times for me with a bike but didn’t with two different gear and two different event on snow!

Just to be clear, my issue wasn’t that I didn’t get the helmet when buying the outfit:

I couldn’t actually buy the outfit because it said « already own », maybe because I already have the shirt and the pants... I wanted to by the outfit just for the helmet but I couldn’t!

It says that I already own the outfit even if I never bought it, it’s sponsor stuff I won... But I don’t have the helmet and I can’t buy the outfit.

And BTW, how [censored] is it to make an outfit for sale with sponsor stuff it took hours and hours to unlock just before that?

@ubi-smash Yes, it still does it if I reboot the game. It’s happening for a few days now.

I can’t tell what specific job but it happened on a bunch of random jobs so I would say any!
