@ubiaioli no update here in Germany on series x
@thekvd I'm bumping this up. Did a bit of research and it seems the low audio volume for voice output (npcs) was already known in the old Ubisoft forums. And it seems its across all platforms.
I also experience the this issue on Xbox series x. It seems to be related to the dynamic range setting of the game. When I play it on my home theatre system (Dolby Atmos) the dynamic range appears to be large, and the npc are practically not audible. Restarting the game with headphones on improves it a bit but the npcs are still off. I have little hopes the devs fix that issue, given that it is known for a while now. Which is quite a shame tbh.
Okay so with HDR off contrast is much better. Doesn't make the nights super dark but it's definitely improved. Just sad to miss out on the HDR peak brightness though
@sol3uk how come? Is your equipment/ TV properly setup/calibrated? HDR/SDR?
@brandomanmods yeah I wish the nights were darker too. On my oled TV not only are the nights too bright but also washed out.
And I'd like to add that caves and basements are too bright too. Makes the torch useless imo.
Now I know ubi might have done that on purpose to improve accessibility and playability. I just wished there was an option for people like me that want proper immersion in an rpg.
