I just started another play through using my main on conquest. Story is, I am a former Spetsnaz operator. The best one they have (of course ), and I am air dropped onto Auroa with full loadout to use at my disposal (using my main character). I am to stop the rogue russian military unit from carrying out acts that are edging Russia into a war they are not starting. I changed the audio to russian but left my subtitles and menu on english. It gives the play through a real feel. I am brutal, I will kill civilians if they get in my way or give my position away. I'm to carry out my orders at any cost regardless of who is in my way. While I do not go out of my way to kill civilians, if they say "Hey!, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!?" I drop them, and move on. I always play the good guy in every play through. Thought I would try a different approach. I also only use russian guns, gear, camo, patches etc...to keep it authentic. Just an idea i'm trying so far.

I can see where you are coming from. Yes, it is tough to find like minded people even though the game is co-op oriented. I've been on forums, discord etc. to look for other in my time zone to form a 4 man squad for immersion. We always get someone who says they play immersive but don't, stealthy but runs into bases without a suppressor, sniper but can't hit a barn at 50 meters, they want matching uniforms and are currently wearing red and black plaid whilst running around in snowy mountains looking like a pizza hut table cloth......So, while I have a couple guys I play with, they are the closest to being like minded and therefore we get along great.

What I've been doing is using MorphVox Pro. If you want to have a kind of radio type headset voice, you can morph the voice and it comes through discord. I also have mapped keys to sound effects for the immersion in game. For example, when I use the strike designator, I have a voice over of a fighter pilot voice that says he now has a coordinates and tells me to prepare for an inbound airstrike. Then, I have it where he radios again saying he needs to RTB for refuel and tells us "good luck guys." Another one I have is when I use the pathfinder class and call in a UAV. The voice over will tell me they are entering the A.O. and are transferring fire power controls over to me so I can make strikes on my handheld. Then, when I make a strike that is a hit, he says "BOOM! Nice Hit!" and when the Amaros timer is out, He radios over and says "Alright, we are returning to base guys, good luck." I've got a buddy that likes what I am doing, and he now is utilizing the same program. If he is dressed as an FBI agent for roleplaying, he will walk up to a door of a house or the stations where you can kick down doors and it says "FBI!! (with door pounding) OPEN UP!"

I wanted to take the opportunity and say thank you for the work you have put forth with this mod. I am currently using it, and can say that it's good. In fact, the other guys I play with now use it with me and we can't see going back to the vanilla way. So again, I appreciate what you have done for us with this mod. I can understand you need to take a break and such due to life. Thank's for being a part of this community and sharing the same passion some of us still have for this franchise. Cheers brother! And if I don't hear from you soon, I hope you and your loved ones have a very lovely Holiday Season.
@imagine_brata
Well, ironically I am not a cheater. I'm using this engine to make the PVE only side harder for me and more realistic. If that is cheating, then I guess I am cheating myself on this one. I am looking into banning myself on a further note. I will keep you posted on the progress of this cheater you speak of.
My Spetsnaz operator in one of the outfits.
@hdwc_
Yes, they can see through foliage perfectly despite the mod......it makes playing conquest that much harder in the harsher weather as they can see through that also while you can't. I feel you on this one...
I've put C4 on vehicles when patrols get out and they lost track of me, only to find I rigged their ride. BOOM! I enjoy the surprise on their end.
The helicopter takes off way to fast and breaks immersion. I like your idea of waiting for realistic lift letting the rotor turn for several seconds vs. doing UFO takeoffs. They need to fix a bunch of things that are immersion breaking for sure.
Lost all of my stuff as well.........I am not happy. They better fix this [censored].
@virtual-chris
Forgive me for asking this. What in the blue hell is soul swapping in this game?
Hello there,
Another question I have. Can this mod be used in a coop session? (If we both run the mod) Has anyone tried it yet to see if it works without issues? Thanks in advance.
@hdwc_
Hey np. I get where you are coming from for sure.

Secondly, the only way I can see pulling people together that actually Milsim given a standard, is probably a dedicated GRB and Wildlands Milsim Discord. Not everyone would be able to join, as that would disrupt the very intent of finding said people. If people wanted to join and learn, there could be mock missions that could be designed to see how people fit in. If they don't grasp the concept in about a week of playing with a unified squad, well unfortunately they will be removed from the Discord until they are willing to learn. That may seem harsh to some, but that is how you can secure people that can form squads and move together regardless of who joins. Some people will naturally fit in and others will need to learn and work at it.
@hdwc_
I read all that you stated. From what I've experienced, the milsim or tactical minded people seem to be a small group vs. the arcade type players. That is why, if you find a couple people that can move in a squad, use comms, plan and execute missions and have fun doing it, try to keep them as friends. I've gone through a bunch of people. I've seen many different versions of what "Milsim" means to people when they play. Most of the time, it's anything but Milsim.
@keltimus
I agree that the face paints in this game were poorly done. You can certainly tell how little the effort was put into it.
@jmagnum50
Yeah, same brother. That would be nice also.
@fcac-no-moe
Oh, I'm not saying what you are doing is the wrong approach buddy. You are clearly giving facts and helping him to avoid this in the future hopefully. I was just reading through this for my entertainment really. I agree with all you said for sure.
But yeah, I would be careful buying anything with the name Ubisoft. Hell, if you bought an Ubisoft shirt there is probably some NDA terms you would have to agree to before you could even wear it and then you probably could only wear it in your house. And secondly, it probably also would have very delicate wash instructions because of how "delicate" it was due to the fact they put so little effort into making it.
Man, this guy is getting roasted. How long has he been in the fire now lol.
