@UbiStorm Hi, everything you ask has already been done by some here, with the ticket number, the dxdiag etc etc ... Now we would like something concrete, a patch and quickly.
I'm going to take a break with FC6 this texture problem breaks all my immersion, I like this game but not in the current state, I will wait for a patch hoping that it will solve this problem, I opened a ticket at the support and I invite you all to do the same thing because the more we will be numerous to report this problem and the more we will be lucky that the devs do something.
Follow the procedure written in this thread it takes 5 minutes guys and gals: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/111264/some-of-the-texture-mapping-in-the-game-is-blurry/261?lang=en-US
This thread reached 34 pages of complaints about it.
And still not the shadow of a patch to come to correct this problem of use of Vram by FC6.

You are brave people who keep hoping for anything from this problem.
I don't hope for anything at all, I gave my money the first day, I learned the lesson, now I would wait, I would not buy a single Ubisoft game or other without having visited the forums before.
When i see i can play games 100 times more graphically beautiful and this one has the textures look like flowing mud after a thunderstorm...
13 years with you (Ubi), and I have 33 Ubisoft games in my library but this is the first and last time you take my money and give me a broken game in return, no worries, but in the future I would be more careful with you like other developers / editors elsewhere.
Because I realize that for some time, a strong degradation is installed in this industry of the video game.
I would not name other developers or publishers, But I still want to emphasize that you are not the worst.
If you say "big empty world as usual" why did you buy it?
Indeed, I also noticed that.
I'm worried to see that this thread already reaches 22 pages (this is the most active forum thread) of reports for the same problem and that it is still not in the thread of the Ubisoft support investigations. https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/111485/reported-issue-megathread-list-check-here-for-your-issue-updated-11-10-2021?lang=en-US
Just after 10 minutes in game, real consumption of Vram in 2K while Ultra with TPHD On, the right side and that of the maximum consumption, as time spent in game, dynamic memory increases up to + 2GB and the Vram nope or few.
This game has a problem, it should not prioritize dynamic memory.
In principle the dynamic memory is allocated as a last resort when the Vram starts to saturated!
@Ubisoft I offer a solution to all those who have opened a support ticket, you offer a 3090 in compensation. More seriously you realize that your game has a problem with the management of the Vram, with or without the HD pack, give us answers, when will a fix?
We all trusted you here by buying the game when it was released we supported you show us that you do the same in return, it is the least of things between a company and its customers...
I have a 2080Ti with 11GB from Vram, I play all games in 4K some with very high resolution texture mods, like The Witcher, Skyrim, etc ... And this is the first time I have to go to a lower resolution to be able to play a game with an HD texture pack, however in the game MSI Afterburner tells me that my Vram is loaded 90% or about 10000MB but despite the fact that this game does not use all my Vram, I have to so reduce my resolution for textures to work properly.
To go further I even play games which made my Vram saturated, i.e. which even used more than 11GB then Windows allocates dynamic memory to compensate, i.e. it will fill the gap of Vram with your DDR it will be slower but it will work.
Open your task manager in Windows and look under the GPU part, at the bottom of the window you have graphs, the first and that of your total Vram on your GPU and the second and the one allocated by Windows, when the first runs out.
For summary FC6 detects that when you reach 10GB of Vram used (for 4K in my example) it will degrade your textures. This is the first time i see a game doing this...

@ubi-thrupney Thanks for your reply... Indeed, I suspected it was intentional
I deleted this game from my SSD, this is the last time I bought a day one game from Ubisoft. This is the first time with a 2080Ti OC, that I have so many problems with textures.
Bright Memory Infinite is coming in a few days, moreover if you buy episode 1 (8 €) on Steam you will have the full final version when it is released, scheduled for November 11 it seems to me.
@simonesoldier04 56 pages talk about it here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/111264/pc-some-textures-are-appearing-blurry-in-game-post-here?lang=en-US&page=1
And know from Ubisoft here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/111485/reported-issue-megathread-list-check-here-for-your-issue-updated-27-10-2021?lang=en-US
in the last big city that of El presidente, I cannot use the parachute or the wingsuit, the icons appear well on the screen but each time I jump from a roof, I end up like a pancake on the ground.
is it intentional, or is it a bug? because it only happens in this city.
@ubi-theberry The ideal would be to have a slider bar to adjust the FidelityFX CAS, for everyone to be able to adjust the sharpening to their liking. (you know how some shader in Reshade can do it)
@Ubi-Borealis I have 11GB of Vram and I can play any game in 4K and somes with texture mods in 4096X4096, all these games use my Vram in good conditions i.e. all of them. Your TPHD is just a joke , a very bad joke.
Your game blocks the use of the Vram 2GB before being at its maximum WTH !
How dare you make such a TPHD which requires so much Vram even in low resolution, you know the requirements you ask for this TPHD very few people have such a GPU, what is your goal? that we hate you? Keep up! You are on the right track...
@bladerunner4077 In my opinion it is happening that they wanted to add DX12 and DXR raytracing on a 2012 engine, here is what happens.
This is when the textures load incorrectly for me (after about 30 minutes of play). Between 9.5GB and 9.8GB, I have to restart the game to get corrected textures.
My card is 11GB but the game allocates 2GB of dynamic memory as Vram, while my Vram is not at its maximum, it's inconsistent and the first time I see a game doing this.
@RegZieeeX Usually with my specs I play all the games in 4K even Metro Exodus which is full raytracing, shadows, lights, reflections, Global illumination etc ... And this FC6 blocks my Vram 2GB below its maximum and in 2K without the DXR on shadows, only reflections.
What a huge disappointment, it's a shame because I like this game, and in 4K with all the DXR activated it must be beautiful but in the immediate future it is impossible.
I hope a fix will correct this problem.
