I was playing for awhile earlier while collecting the 10 weekly stashes and then the game got unstable, so I tried reloading the game and kept getting the error code "Boring Concession" and then it says that online services are not available at this time. I also was getting no loot, nothing from those 10 weekly loot challenges and nothing from hacking drones carrying loot packages... Anyway, the online mode game seems to be broken again. The Campaign mode works fine though, as I tested it. Hope someone from Ubisoft responds back to me on this thread... Thanks!
I'm loving this game and as I predicted, this is by far, my favorite Far Cry game in the series. Far Cry 3 had a long reign at the top for me, but now Far Cry 6 has taken the top spot. Well done Ubisoft!
P.S. Since I just took a 15 minute break from the game, I don't have time to read all the posts ATM, but in case some people are asking or wondering what the mysterious key found in Chorizo's quest, I'm pretty sure that it's for a chest on Guau-Guau Island, which is located on Isla Santuario (the starting location of Dani's adventure). Guau-Gua Island is the Island just South of the Casas Cove region. Since I explore everywhere first, I found the Island, but have yet to start Chorizo's quest. Anyway, happy hunting, exploring and collecting! P.S.S. Some nice shark skins to collect in that area too. Guapo does a great job in helping in the hunt too. Back to the game now!
When the game was at it's peak, this same main weekly challenge had around 250 million kills and only required 200 million kills and 100 million kills before that, now there are less players and they decided to up it to 500 million kills. LMAO Some of these employees are totally clueless. I just look at the challenges each week and won't even participate in any challenges that I know are unachievable. Ubisoft, just like other companies, hires some great talent, but some idiots as well. That's just the norm in an imperfect world.
As my prediction was mid June to mid July of 2022, but it seems that it will most likely not be until sometime in 2023. But since Michel Ancel left, the Covid attack and other creative game development issues beyond anyone's control, setbacks are a frustrating and expected reality. At least they have a new forum website, which a good indication that the game is still in the works. This game has been my number 2 most anticipated game for around 2 years now, while Crimson Desert has been and still is my number 1 most anticipated game. I am still super excited about these 2 games and can hardly wait to play and enjoy them both. Keep up the good work on this gem of game, Ubisoft!
I'll still do Darcy's DLC missions and continue to horse around here and there while doing the daily and weekly challenges, but I won't start another playthrough, until a game plus mode is added, if ever? What a shame!
@dobrerano, I have been asking this question for over a month, while still waiting for someone at Ubisoft to answer that question. Not only Yelena Morales is missing, but so are Camila "Espada" Montero, Philly Barzaga and Teresa "Lucky Mama" Moreno as well.
@xmdead, Well for most people on the far right, any and all games that have a female protagonist, too many female heroes in general, any gay characters, any hipsters, any racial references, any praising of any Nation other than the USA, or any negative overtones and connotations of their way of thinking, are considered evil and woke. For them it's all about USA, USA, USA,... America first,... America, Hell Yeah,... for them, it's a white man's world and an Alpha male Rambo type world. Too much testosterone and steroids in one's body, is not a good thing.
@ubi-lucipus
LOL... The Division 2 has been a "DELTA" crashing clustermuck ever since it's release and has never been fixed. They should see what thet did right in order to play The Division 1 flawlessly and do the same for the Division 2, but that would be too simple. I quit playing this poorly developed game over a year ago and will never purchase another game made by Massive Entertainment and their incompetent team. The best I can suggest, is for you to tell them to invest in a good and functional server, or don't make the game for online only. Cutting corners with cheap servers and poor game optimization, will lead to failure everytime. If Massive Entertainment survives as a company, good for them, but if they fail, I won't lose any sleep over their demise. I hope that they put the money I gave them to good use, because they won't ever be getting one penny more from me. Have a great life!
@namitch040167, Bandido operations and Lola's Insurgency/Special Operations. Also loot drops in the main game, if you can find them and have completed everything else on the world map (timed loot challenges and ambush missions). But yeah, gun powder is rare and the most sought after resource in the game and metal is everywhere and the best source to sell for Yara pesos and become rich.
@viktor_97 100% agree! All they need to do is add a slider bar, because selling one at a time becomes tedious and because we don't want to totally deplete our entire stock of said resource. How game programmers miss some of the simplest and most common sense functions, is mind boggling.
@kevmcclane Did you try the left Alt key?
@C-Pick, Indeed! It's the number one request I had for this game, but they never delivered. I still play a bit everyday, but even as much as I love this game, soon it will be collecting dust in my game library. Once Crimson Desert, Hogwarts Legacy, DokeV and Starfield release, as those games will take a long time to complete and quench my thirst. Then there's Mount & Blade: Bannerlord too, along with other games that will release further down the line, like Beyond Good & Evil 2, Mass Effect 5, Dragon Age 4, Mafia 4 and The Elder Scrolls 6, just to name a few. There is never a shortage of games, but always a shortage of time to play them all.
@michio42 Far Cry 3, 4 and 6 in that order, mainly based on the graphic improvements of the newer games, because all the stories are different and with different main characters, except for a guy called Willis, but he's an exception and a minor NPC. That's just my 2 cents, but in the end, it's your money and your decision.
@jakerose, Since this never happened to me, all I can say is,... set the game to easy, take Oluso with you and go through the gates to reach Castillo's tower in Esperanza. Now, if the elevator to his tower is no longer working/accesible, then you are screwed and will have to start the game all over. But since you have not reached that area yet, the elevator should still be accesible.
@calzony, That would have been a great addition to the game, but unfortunately, WDL is no longer being supported for the most part. Even so, I still love this game and still play it everyday.
@hakiyu I for one, enjoyed the game. Far Cry 6 is my favorite in the series, followed by 3 and then 4. You should only get the gold edition if you enjoy rogue or rogue-lite type games, because that's what you'll mainly be getting with the DLC's, other than the Rambo and Danny Trejo add-ons, that are really good. But the game is now cheap, so getting all the extras, is not a bad investment. It's all up to you!
@rickidoo2010 Agreed!... As the old adage goes, "You can't please all of the people, all of the time". The main complaints are mostly always about the same things, like Hud customization, graphics, game mechanics,1st person v.s. 3rd person, RPG elements v.s. no RPG elements, Multiplayer and PVP lovers v,s. Single player campaign and story driven lovers, Total chaos and destruction lovers v.s. dialogue and choices and consequences lovers, main story only v.s. completionists, Customization and skin lovers, v.s. those that don't care about those things, etc. But sometimes, there are even complaints about the most bizarre and obscure little things, that really surprise me,... but something important for someone, can be something meaningless to someone else, and vice-versa. This will never change, but the one thing that we all have the power to do, is decide weather or not to PURCHASE a game, because no one is forced to purchase anything they don't like or think that they will not like.
In closing,... In the 30 years of PC gaming I have under my belt and the over 700 game purchases I have made, I regret purchasing just 1 game in my life, and that game was on sale for $1.99, so I said to myself, why not? I cant even remember the name of the game anymore though, which is no big deal. Great post!
@gameguru2018 Space and aliens go hand in hand and I'll definitely be purchasing and playing thousands of hours of Starfield. Life is about choices. What a concept.
I do agree however, that Far Cry should not take the space route and remain on lush and mysterious mythical islands or even real Earthly locations. By the way, Far Cry already did space like gameplay with Blood Dragon, which many people really loved, even though I wasn't one of them. There are all types of games and game genres available to us gamers, because we all like and dislike certain types of games and genres. Our job is to decide what games will get our money. It's our choice and no one is forced to purchase anything they don't like. It's as simple as that. And lastly, no game is perfect and could never be perfect, unless we made the game ourselves.
@gameguru2018 No thank you, as I have zero interest in those 2 games. In fact, I have zero interest in all zombie and horror genre type games. But by all means, enjoy what you like playing. Game on!
@robertemerald, And Starfield as well. I could not add that game, until I saw more and got more info on it, and that's exactly what I got from yesterday's latest game trailer. Starfield has everything I look for in an action, story driven RPG.
