13.11.2001 the game came out, it has 20 years since its release. It would be possible, in honor of the round date of the release in general of the series itself and the brand of the game, as an option to release these plugins. All other parts have only a title from the series and have nothing to do with the original.
@russi4gh0st
Ubisoft giving a source code ? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN !!
Also FAR CRY 1 was made by Crytec, not Ubisoft.
Yes, I mean that developers sometimes give the source code themselves from the game or from part of the game or plugins. Would make these copies of the code for a fee then as an option.
The same FarCry1 seems to have the source code of the plugins and, if desired, you can create plugins for new versions.
@russi4gh0st Ubisoft is no longer supporting this game, they will not waste time and resources to add mod support or any thing like that .
If they themselves do not want to create plugins for new versions, then they would give, as an option, the source code of plugins for 4, 5 3ds max in open access and you could rewrite these plugins yourself. Although I think most likely they have already removed the source code, too, because the project has long been closed. They turned all the other parts of the series into an ordinary shooter with a minimum of realism, but in part 1, even now, many moments look more realistic than in modern shooters. For example, injuries even now are not found in all games, except in the ARMA series. And if they posted the source code of the game itself, then the fans would create a lot of interesting things even now.
Good afternoon. Please create plugins for modding the game Ghost Recon Island Thunder for new versions of 3ds Max. Currently, Autodesk does not support old versions and does not sell licenses for them, and plugins for modding the game are available only for versions 3, 4 and 5. Plugins do not work on newer versions. Can developers make a plugin to support rsb game format for Blender? Ubisoft is currently supporting blender development. Also, as far as I know, the official developers of Red Storm Entertainment 1 part of the game are also part of Ubisoft. Big request at least somehow help with modd the old game.
