Since TU 16 I played about 6 hours, including legendary zoo and countdown. My game crashed 4 times so far, 2 complete lock-up/freezes, 2 freezes to window mode.
Division 2 just crashed after 8 minutes of playing. Currently, there is no point playing your game until the crash issues have been resolved.
Just wanted to post a video of a typical crash here.
@Imagine_Brata How do the boots taste like?
I'll take a break of the game until I see something about fixes to the constant game crashes. It's not fun playing like this.
@shakey19811 Just fyi what the Ubisoft staff member is suggesting doesn't make a difference. I have the Ubisoft Connect PC application and Division 2 on the same drive and the crashes are still the same.
Still looking for anyone with this subtle yet noticable issue on PC, happens since TU 16/16.1.

@Ubi-MrM I have the same exact problem, cannot fast-travel from NY to DC because the game CTD immediately when I want to fast-travel. This happens every time. I cannot play. When will this game-breaking bug be fixed?
@capstar362 thanks for the info. Just to be clear, did you clear both caches and verified game files before you played?
Performance & Stability
Fixed an issue where the game will crash on a regular basis when DirectX 12 is enabled on PC.
It sounds too good to be true tbh.
Game crashes when trying to login to a character. No fixes in sight.
@Ubi-Clem That's funny because the workaround is to disable all open-world directives and has been posted multiple times on the forums
@Nit3H8wk Thank you for info, just confirmed it for myself: "RELEASE DATE: 12 Jan, 2023." I absolutely did not expect the developers to bring this game to steam. However, I doubt anything will change with regards to CTD, the current development team has proven time and time again to be completely incompetent.
However, Division 1 when launched via steam (while it still connects to Ubisoft Connect) runs way more stable by now.
Was able to travel to DC by disabling all open-world affixes. Tried to do the "Lucky"-manhunt, was able to finish 2 control points until the game CTD again. Very disappointing.

Tried to play the game today on a completely fresh sytem with all new drivers for everything. Wanted to fast-travel from the NY map to the DC map, game immediately crashed to desktop.

I am extremely disappointed in the current development team. This bug forces users to reboot their systems after a game crash. It's absolutely astounding that this wasn't hotfixed yet. Personally, I would like to play D2, but I am not touching this game while these issues persist.
I am having the same issue and won't play until this gets patched.
