

Afternoon Ghosts, hope you are all well!
So I’ve been working on an idea for a future Ghost Recon game, and would like to get your thoughts on it!

all of the Ghosts mentioned in here are loosely based on real US special forces operators (curious if you can guess any of them)
admittedly the concept is still at an early phase and I’ve not quite started on the Year one story details quite yet!

from everything I’ve been told Ubisoft we’re very happy with the results from the Next Game survey.
so we thought we would do a part 2 adding some more meat to the bone, we also done a small video just quickly discussing a few things and showing some of the new questions

hey bud to me there is no such thing as negative feedback, especially with your comments as they are constructive and make valid points.
these are just more to give them the info to build what ever new world were going to be fighting in and give it more.
tanks were originally fielded in Iraq and Afghanistan so could still be Viable
but for underground stuff don’t always think Subways.
think more like Mine’s, smuggling Tunnels, caves too
so i've been giving this some proper thought over the past few weeks with the news of a new game in the works, but i actually think they should just port the current gunsmith From BP and then add a few updates to the customization options for a more dynamic style.
the only things they really need to add are the following
*Ability to change Handguards
*More Barrel Length options (that actually affect Range)
*Ability to change Pistol Grips
*Ability to change upper receivers
I've done some mock ups again, all using stuff that's currently in BP's gunsmith that could be easily updated,

One of the big things that still needs to be overhauled is the Weapon menu though for this to work at its best, instead of having 23 different Variants of the M4/416/516 etc. just have one blueprint for each, with a better choice of barrel lenghts, handguards, trigger options and pistol grips to choose from so that we can customize our weapon the way we want it.
the Caveat being that we cant then just change any of these things whenever we want in the game world, to change barrels or trigger options these are things that we should only do at a main base location. adding some planning though into your weapon layout and selection for each mission.
Also on a side note when it comes to weapon paints in the next game, i really hope they don't start giving us colours like pink's and blues when it comes to plain colours, same with just shrinking down the clothing camo's as most of them just don't look right instead give us paint jobs like this!

Just my opinion, I said, maybe they will reconsider, or maybe one of the developers will see my topic and rethink
Ubisoft in recent years has to restructure and manage the company. Games if you have a lot of parts, they become boring, especially games like Far Cry, the same content, everything except for places and enemies, just the opposite of the GTA games, each part excites you in the other
Ask any of the longer term guys and girls on here they will all tell you the same thing, The Devs if they even actually still venture on here, very rarely implement things seen on here.
if they were willing to ignore 2 years of constant requests on here and Reddit amongst other places aswell as a 2600 participant survey, when they were still supporting the game.
then there’s absolutely no chance they’d going to change their mind now.

thank you, one thing I realised I forgot too add into the detail is that Atropia is a neutral western-leaning state that has had heavy US and European military and economic support.
it also has one of the biggest Fuel reserves and pipelines passing through Gorgas (Georgia) into Europe.

and add more nuance in why the Allied Nations are “officially” in the region
already got some good underlying ideas on how some of the storylines are going to work

I’m currently still in an early stage of writing a whole back story and mission set for my Ghost Recon: Warfighter idea
have the wider location and backstory sorted, also wrote 5 story episodes (roughly covering a 4 month period) still working on a few more though
then have added a whole host of side missions that tie into the main game storyline
from cross border raids working for the CIA, Special events in game and 17 support missions which would replace faction missions
and 4 TC cross over events which all tie into the main storyline of the game whilst using the lore of the Clancyverse to add substance
even created a whole new fictitious 12 man Ghost team, whilst tying in Predator, hunter and Kingslayer teams into one larger ODA
also now working on creating the Ghosts HQ element which will be on the ground in game.
hopefully though I will be able to post everything in picture form on here soon though

I can understand wanting Afghan as a setting definitely.
since I’ve posted this I’ve created a lot more to go with the concept including
6 Episodes (still got 2 more to complete)
4 Omega Missions (Re-worked cross border Raid style missions)
3 Special Events (1 still left to do)
3 TC cross over ideas that all tie into the main game storyline whilst referencing Clancy lore
and 17 ideas for Support Missions (faction style missions)
soon as I figure how to post pics up I will put it all up on here

I’ve still got a lot more work I’m planning on putting in including:
* back stories for the first 8 episodes (which would release every 3 months)
* Military based faction mission sets
* Omega Missions (cross border raid missions)
* Live Events/cross over concepts
* different enemy types per faction

A week and 3 days since the first post, since the question hasn't been answered, so @Ubi-Heruhoss , could you eventually tell us if there is any alternative, solution to resolve the lack of communication? If any demand for more transparency has been sent to your upper echelons and taken in consideration? Within the limits of your attributions.
Whilst I applaud your enthusiasm I massively doubt you will get a reply through here. Even on Reddit it’s hard enough to get a reply
one thing to bear in mind though is that the Various Delta members and Community Devs are probably still bound by NDA’s so can’t really say anything unless given explicit permission from upper management.
