I also checked the event viewer, and that is most useless, unfriendly, and anti-user program ever created, i mean it display error, when you view the event it just has game.exe or whatever exe crashed. There are some error codes, which mean jack s**t because we need to know to what they are referencing to fix it. Same with BSOD error codes, they give general service that crashed, and when checked you always get same answer, check driver, check gpu, check memory, check system drive, i mean really !?!?

The only thing that i find in error log with UBI logs is that error is with some overlay pid file, even if anything that can be overlay related i turned off, i also completely closed any process or program from task manager. And still getting crashes, sometimes after hour 2 3 sometimes immediately after 15-30 minutes. I downgraded speed of memory also, and reset all OC to default, but nope, still the same.

I also have random crashes (with no error showing) followed by driver restarting, it just happens with this game. Im playing other games and this never happens. Any fix for this or we need to wait another patch again !?!? Im playing it on Ubisoft+

@soulreavrr i do have crash log in Ubisoft folder, and it is always the same something overall pid file. Even if i turned off everything that can interfere with "overall", i did reset all OC, so everything should be OK, but game still crashed.

@orkun86 lol, this may helped me. Im 3 4 hours in the game and still no crashing. Though i recently installed older Nvidia driver because i had some problems with mining with the newest and also used some driver uninstall utility to completely wipe all traces of a driver. But before i tried the game, im not sure if what i did has any influence for game not crashing, or did it helped in any way, but nevertheless i turned on debug in nvidia control panel. The only difference that i noticed that debug do is that i cant OC anymore (and no, before this i already tried resetting all OC settings to default). Will test it tomorrow further.

@pharahmedic let us know, if that gonna fix crashes, i need to reassign some games from C:\ SSD drive to HDD, just for the sake for trying it.

@staus4 That does not work for us which are using Ubisoft plus. Cant play game in offline mode.

@allysonflb Nope, it just shuts down. I also tried Borderless, Full screen, and will try windowed, but i think it does not matter. I read somewhere this happens mostly on Ubisoft plus subscription, not if game is bought regularly, but i think thats just assumption, and wild guess. I also tried older, newer, newest, and clean driver install, but it still is happening.

I still have game crashes even after latest updates, sometimes as soon as i load the save game, sometimes after hour of two, it is very annoying, breaks enjoyment. I dont remember that i had any crashes with Odyssey. Also Valhalla before 1.3 did not have any notable crashes. But now this is atrocious. Drivers are updated, background programs turned off, overlay turned off.
