Far Cry related troubleshooting tips: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/post/795140
Can we get a Far Cry Map Editor section, to keep Map Editor-related discussions in one spot?
Maybe even 2 sections: one "Map Editor Support" for map making tips & tricks & support, and one "Published Community Maps" for showcasing them and playthroughs?
*edit*
Also, weird thing... I wasn't able to post in any of the (legacy) Far Cry Series boards at all. Maybe that explains why there isn't much content in here... yet.
I previously helped report an issue on the Xbox side of things that seems to be related to the Far Cry Arcade website. ( https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/138490/facing-endless-loading-on-far-cry-arcade-website-when-adding-on-favorite/24?lang=en-US )
Aside from this issue (or perhaps related) is the fact that all xboxone players are unable to publish (updates to their preexisting) maps due to a "Redhorn-7800018" error.
I guess Redhorn errors point to issues with the online map storage services rather than the G2W Arcade website, so I figure I make a separate post about this here..
@iizz-remiix-zzi It looks like the map was already ported to PC? So only the Xbox port would remain...

@chris2a2a Maybe try deleting the xml files in your Documents\My Games\Far Cry 6 folder will help?

With the Far Cry 3 servers apparently shutting down on October 1 2022 now, it could make sense to do a quality of life update that removes the server connection from the game and removes the need for PunkBuster.
@reaby I'm also annoyed that links don't work. As-is now, they clutter posts that use them (i.e. https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/119929/far-cry-5-arcade-porting-maps-to-other-systems-using-mapswapper/61?page=4 ) , making the forum very unfriendly.
@one-iq If the game can't be started, it's most likely a security thing. Have you tried running Ubisoft Connect/Far Cry3 with Administrator privileges?
Maybe there are some troubleshooting tips at https://steve.farcry.eu: (https://steve.farcry.eu)
Reinstalling the game probably doesn't reset the game settings. To do that, delete the file %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 6\GamerProfile.xml
For anyone encountering the same issue, I compiled some tips on reducing mapsize at https://list.farcry.info/?path=MAPSIZE: (https://list.farcry.info/?path=MAPSIZE)
0xc0000005
I think error code 0xc0000005 happens when the application can't access something. I'm thinking it's a permission issue of either the Far Cry 3 install folder (i.e. "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Far Cry 3"), the Far Cry 3 savegame folder (i.e. "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\{YOUR_UPLAY_ID}\farcry3_game_id"), or the Far Cry 3 Documents folder at "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3". In the latter case, deleting the GamerProfile.xml file should reset the game to factory settings.
However, if that file doesn't exist, then chances are some security suite is blocking access to that folder. You may need to add Far Cry 3.exe to the exceptions of Windows Controlled Folder settings.
@paparoup Far Cry 6's update schema differs from the previous games. In Far Cry 5, most updates were written to a specific patch.fat file, but Far Cry 6 instead needs to update the other (big) data files themselves. It does so by downloading the new data to a temporary download folder & when that's complete, moves it over any already installed files.
So, "deleting old game files" would include any Far Cry 6 files (specifically from the Far Cry 6\data_final folder) that will be overwritten by the new patch anyway.

@arrow7000 I compiled a list of troubleshooting steps on https://steve.farcry.eu/: (https://steve.farcry.eu) , maybe try them.
Could you try running the game on the lowest graphical settings, try fullscreen or windowed? If the issue disappears, increase the graphic settings until the issue reappears & we might know what's causing it.
Also, maybe your DPI is set too high, see https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/connectivity-and-performance/article/changing-your-monitors-dpi/000065536
Could you check if this also happens when playing a random new singleplayer map? If so, the issue would be related to the map cache storage. If not, the issue would probably be related to PvP multiplayer/matchmaking.
@aodeivid Everyone has, the content was removed when licensing expired.
