How is this possible? The game keeps crashing like crazy since latest update. Everyone I meet during gameplay suffers the same...people are getting fed up with this. I would bet my money that Ubisoft is now commited to make all players quit the game.
Since the damn Seasons rerun the game has not been the same as before. I hardly had any crashes prior to the rerun.
How can Ubisoft behave like this? How is it possible for Ubisoft to allow this to go on and on?
What do you people do there? Do you even care about the game?
I have tried all suggested solutions (the ones from the Official response are a joke!) available on the internet. Nothing solves the issue.
I would be ashamed to be part of Ubisoft right now as you people keep treating players like garbage and do absolutely nothing to solve this issue.
I will now stop playing this damn game and move over to something that can actually be played without crashing.

Lol, ok that was the 1st thing I checked before posting this and it was already on.
Î managed to take a couple of screenshots via "other" settings in Ubisoft Connect but had to switch from the F11 key to the - (minus) key.
F12 still does not work as supposed.
Anyway thank you for the reply. I appreciate.
Hi there
I have come across with the above issue.
I cannot, no mater which key I set on Ubisoft Connect or use the in-game F12, take any screenshot!
Has this happened to anyone?
Every single time I press F12 and I go to the screenshots folder (yes, I know where it is) there is nothing there.
AC Valhalla screenshots work just fine.
I tried using the F11 key (set in the Ubisoft Connect "Other" settings for screenshots but to no avail. It simply does not capture any screenshot.
Does anyone have the slightest idea how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.
@longjohn119 Hi there.
I have the same issue, been playing all week for several hours a day and no issues.
Today I already crashed 3 times in the same area when raiding a monastery in upper northern Ulster.
The error I get in the event viewer reports "O controlador de visualização nvlddmkm deixou de responder e recuperou com êxito."
Basically it says the NVidia controller stopped working. This can indeed happen but after 4 or 5 days of several hours gameplay it happens in this specific area only. Go figure!
Drivers are updated, game files verified...

@theonlyskates same here, it only started after today’s patch. I’m playing on a RTX 2070 and the game is smooth as butter on ultra plus HD pack…. O VRAM issues whatsoever. They need to fix this asap, saying the prompt is annoying is an understatement!
Disabling the “in-game overlay” solved it for me but this is a temp fix, they need to address this issue!
Update
No idea some games could be picky about factory clocked cards, weird!
Is there a way to enable this for a specific games?
Thank you very much for your input.
@redindianrobin Ok, Will try that. Sorry to ask but what does that exactly do? Do I need to do anything else besides turning it on?
Thank you for your help.
Hi there.
Brand new PC here
Ryzen 7 5800X
Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus
Crucial Ballistix 32Gb
MSI RTX 2070 Gaming X
Corsair RM 750X
NO OC
Given I only started playing the game 3 or 4 days ago I cannot say anything regarding performance prior to the present version of the game.
Having said that the game never crashed before moving on to England. Since then I have had 3 reboots in random locations (once in a cutscene and twice while fighting and looting).
I play other games maxed out @1080p besides Valhala for hours on end and I do not experience the same kind of issues. The Division 2 (which is full of clutter all over the place) and Cyberpunk (as demanding as it is with Ray Tracing) just as reference do not experience any crashes, it only happens when I’m playing Valhala.
I even downloaded and ran OCCT for 20 minutes and found no errors.
Any recommendations to mitigate these reboots? Lowering any specific settings would help?
Any other suggestions!
Thank you in advance.

@admiralspeedy I see. I'm just asking because AC Odyssey wasn't supposed to run on i7 920 (@3.9)....and it did after Ubisoft kindly patched it.
Ty for your reply, I appreciate.
Hi there.
I'm still a Win7 user (yes, I know I should move on) and I run all the games I own from Ubisoft and others. Latest AC Odyssey was no issue, ran smooth as butter and with great looks too.
Having said that I just tried to launch Valhala but to no avail. I get the missing .dll files warning (all related to Win10).
I have no issues with the game being made to run exclusively (minimum requirements) for win10.
Can anyone from Ubisoft please confirm there is no way the game will run on Windows7?
Tyvm in advance.
