Day four and still no credit for completing Reda Quests. That's 8 in total completed with no credit yet. (videos below)
Today was a bit different as one of the quests auto-completed as I came upon the location. (video below)
I attempted the supposed manual save workaround mentioned by someone else in this thread and it did not work.
I have received credit, EXP, and my opals for every quest I have completed thus far.
Yesterday when this weekly event launched I completed the two Reda's quests available to me and did not receive credit in Ubisoft Connect.
Today I captured video completing both daily quests available and took a screenshot afterwards of my Ubisoft Connect screen to show the lack of completion towards progress. I tried to capture in the video between completing the quests the Ubi Connect screen but apparently PS4 doesn't capture it on the video hence the screenshot.
It would be really great if you guys could have a weekly event like this with a limited-time collectible reward properly work, just like the Einherjar Bow last month not working, now this, it's a little disappointing.
I should also add as a side-note, that for the sword challenge this week, regular one-handed sword kills were not counting for completion (I was using Egbert and Joyeuse), but two-handed swords are.
I was able to capture the "Avenge quest" spam this morning. Happened during a story mission in Grantebridge. It stopped once I moved half-way across the village I was in, but the loot "new quest" spam popped up in there a couple times during this video as well.
Starts about 30 seconds in and lasts for a couple minutes until I moved far enough away.
Playing on a newish game, about 8 hours in.
Was doing a world event - Winchell the Robefree
After finishing the event, every time I looted something, food berries, barrels, treasure, wealth a "New Quest" accepted notification popped up. If you loot multiple things quickly, you get a "Multiple New Quests" notification instead.
I went to Besuncen Tor and took this video following the start of this bug;
I exited the game to title screen, loaded back up the same game and the spam had stopped until I fast traveled to Duroliponte.
I didn't catch the following on video but this is what happened;
- An "Avenge <user>" Quest popped up and it was auto-accepted (this was not the case prior to today as I thought this had become optional by clicking on the dead body now)
- Immediately after that, looting barrels in Duroliponte started the "New Quest" spam again, and the Avenge quest popped up continuously while I stayed in the area until I moved far enough away.
- Once I moved far enough away, near the "The Doom Book of Cats" event outside of Grantebridge all of the "new quest" spam stopped as well.
- I tested more by looting lots of stuff in an around Grantebridge, no new spam
- I also fast traveled to a different location near Isle of Ely and starting killing and looting there too and no new spam
I imagine the Avenge quest spam will come up again and will try to capture that if possible.
@kormac67 That looks like a bag of treasure from busted crate or pot.
The actual clue glows the same color as Odin's sight (or at least it did for me) and not the white in your screenshot.
Perhaps it's not in the same spot every game, but I found it much deeper in a room with no ladder like in your screenshot. I also had no issue getting it glow with Odin's sight, and it has a full interact triangle.

In an effort to capture the trade posts being completed and active already on a subsequent playthrough I started a new game roughly 8 hours in. I finished the first pledge to open up Ireland, went to Ireland, played through the quests until Rathdown Takedown and as you can see in this video I rode to Rathdown and the storehouse and Lodging are already built, I control the post and it's generating goods, but I haven't done a thing! I didn't clear out the bandits, didn't finish the quest.
Second half of the video is me immediately riding to Lidsurrow to see what was up there and you'll see by the end of the video it's already controlled, active, and producing goods. I know from experience if I went out to the swamp nearby and grabbed the deed from Ichroe Bog I wouldn't be able to turn it in since it's all working already.
So I started another game, about 10 hours in this time and level 102. I just finished the blockade quest and Azar is ready to take me to Ireland when I noticed on the table behind him the "check on trade chest" icon. I clicked on it and you can see i'm at max storage for all of the trade goods. I took a video of this.
I went ahead and saved this game in a different file which is in my support ticket.
I did go to Ireland on that game and yes, everything was built and up and running.
I included both game files from the above videos and my last subsequent playthrough where the trade posts worked as intended in the hopes there's something in there that can help.
I also tried a couple things;
- Turned off network access on my PS4 during all Azar quests - didn't help
- Turned off network access during the WoD launch quest - didn't help
Wish I knew why my previous subsequent playthrough worked fine, but the these two didn't.
Is there anything else I can provide that will be helpful?
(I can't find the mega-thread for this so I post this in hopes it gets added to the ongoing issue)
This happens to me on every playthrough I've done since I started playing in May.
At some point between level 200 and 400 I will login, or come out of a shop, or come out of the tattoo shop in Ravensthorpe and one random rune from from 3-5 pieces of my equipped armor.
In my experience it is always + Life Runes, I've never lost a weapon rune in this way. (this has not been a huge issue for me since adding a +18 life rune doesn't actually add +18 life, and never has, it only adds 3-4 life I assume from diminishing returns) Today it was some +14.9 Life runes, in the past it has been either 14.9 or 18.9 life runes.
The armor sets this has happened to include the Mentor's, Druid, and Einherjar from the store in various playthroughs.
I've never been able to capture it happening before until today.
This video shows me logging in a little while ago from a main save game file, finding 3 of my runes disappeared (all life runes). I was able to load in the same game immediately from an autosave a few minutes prior where you can see the runes in place.
The cloud save for this game file is available to grab as well, although it will most likely be the restored version.
@ubi-borealis I misundertood by reading through this thread.
I thought the issue was:
you get to Ireland on a subsequent playthrough,
the trade post is already claimed,
and producing goods
You can find the deeds for the others, and even complete the Rathdown quest, but after Rathdown you can't turn in the deeds to "activate" the trade post because it's already claimed, active, built, producing goods.
That is my issue, and apparently many others in this thread.
Do we need to start a new thread for this, because regardless it seems on subsequent playthroughs trade posts are not functioning correctly for many people and has been this way for months (my experience)
I'd like to add my two cents to this.
I play on PS4
I have not encountered the Trials of Morrigan Bug.
I have continually encountered the trade posts already built, operational, cannot complete bug through multiple playthroughs (although I have deleted many of them).
1st playthrough - no issues
2nd playthrough - encountered the trade posts could not be completed, found deeds and couldn't turn them in. Finished the rest of Ireland with no issues but I eventually deleted this game. This was back in June.
3rd playthrough - did not encounter the trade post bug (this was weeks prior to patch 1.3 and long before Sigrblot) I still have this game save and am currently going through Paris. Went to Ireland around level 190.
4th playthrough - created just before patch 1.3. Went to Ireland after patch 1.3 and after Sigrblot was completed. Found Rathdown already operational scouting it out with my raven, deleted this game. I was level 466 + about 50 mastery points.
5th playthrough - created during Sigrblot. Went to Ireland after Sigrblot and again found Rathdown already operational scouting it out with my raven, deleted this game. Was level ~215 when I went.
6th playthrough - current game started specifically for this issue. 12 hours in, level 90. I have a save file for this in the cloud right now one hour into Ireland and Rathdown is already operational, so the bug is active. I have a save file not in the cloud 1 hour prior to the cloud save before going to Ireland.
My visits to Ireland, including my first playthrough, have occurred at various levels, usually I try to go past 190 so the ingots are all Tungsten, but the bugged games listed above have been at various levels and story progress so I don't see a pattern. Still wondering why my third playthrough worked, but my second didn't as I played both of those closely together.
My question and request is;
- Can you grab that cloud save in the next 12 hours since I can't force it onto a USB?
- Where and how is the best method to get you my save file prior to going to Ireland as well? Is a support ticket the best way?
I have tried the following potential "tricks" with no success;
- Loaded the pre-Ireland travel game with my network turned off (this is how I get Beowulf and Berserker addon quests to show up in my letter box when they don't on their own)
- I did try the delete your first playthrough, in fact I removed all of my playthroughs onto a USB and played with just the pre-Ireland 6th game listed above and that did not work either.
Also, what kind of videos and screenshots would be best to help move this along since it's apparent this has been a long standing bug on subsequent playthroughs?
Finished up the Guide De Roca Cairn, pressed and held validate, graphics zoom in but no completion graphic and no skill point.
I did reload from a saved game after this and the cairn stones were still in place and holding validate did complete it this time, but this bug still happened on the first attempt.
I have been able to duplicate this and provide some more information.
It seems the tattoos you can buy at the vendors in Siege of Paris continually sell the patterns even after you have learned them. I apparently did this too, because I kept thinking I was buying new ones and not paying close attention.
I have attached screenshots here that show tattoos in my tattoo shop I have learned that are duplicated, as well as vendors still selling the same patterns after I've obviously purchased/learned them;

I run three saved games.
I started my festival day with my lowest level character and was able to buy all the things, and complete the entire festival offerings without a single bug or issue.
My second game was with my maxed out, longest running character. I am experiencing the foreign resource bug and cannot finish the "War Effort" quest because of it. I was able to buy and experience everything else without issues.
I decided to go ahead with my third save game. This is a maxed out skill-level character (still plenty of mastery point room) and hasn't finished all river raids so I though it would be safe.
I was able to complete all tasks for the "War Effort" but the final tick on the bar did not move and complete the quest to the next stage of talking to Sunniva. The mission is stuck on "check the idols for things to do" part, but none of the idols have clickable icons, and I finished all of the tasks anyway.
The only thing I can think of, is after I won the Orlog game, I went to Ake to do the Flyting. My game crashed during the flyting. When I loaded back in from an autosave file, I had to complete the Orlog again, and was able to complete that and the Flyting and then this bug occurred.
Let me know if a save file or screenshots would help. Or should I just open a support ticket with those items?
The xp/silver boosts only lasting one hour on a new game is my issue too.
I opened a different post because I believe there's a weird interaction bug with the 1-hour boosts from the druid settlement pack going on here, or it started with 1.2.2, either way I hope they sort it out.
I have had the permanent XP/Silver boost purchased with helix credits for some time now. I linked my Amazon Prime to Ubisoft a few days ago and received my druid settlement bundle on my other saved games that I had plenty of time invested, no issues there, this bug did not happen to my other games.
I started a new game this evening.
Upon reaching the "the family matters" mission in Fornburg. Normally right after speaking with Gunnar and then speaking to Randvi usually triggers the release of all purchased items and boosts. Everything unlocked as expected, except this time, the black pop-ups announced that I had the XP/silver boost. I went to pause them as I do at times and when I checked the main inventory screen the icons only show an hour remaining on the boosts and not the 11 thousand days or whatever that it usually shows on my other games. I assume this is because the druid settlement pack gives me 5 one-hour boosts.
So I played for a while and when the 1 hour timer on the boosts expired they were not replaced with the purchased versions, the boosts simply ended.
Troubleshooting I have tried;
I tried disconnecting the ps4 from the internet and reloading the game from scratch, as that has proven to be a workaround for when bonus content hasn't loaded before, but it did not work for this.
Reloading the game from the manual save or autosaves after the boosts had expired did not make the purchased ones show up either.
I can take screenshots if necessary.
