@mrsir1980 The point here is that it doesn't make sense within the setting.
@spidey456 I'm sure their combat prowess was the reason that happened.
@ubi-mark Why is this even a thing? Once an area is cleared it should be considered cleared. There is no logic in "the one man army just came in and massacred our entire base, send more guys in to sit there and wait to be slaughtered". The game desperately needs a new game+ option because I'm perfectly fine with these soldiers being restricted to their own weekly map once Anton is dead.
@igrvks No, I think the OP is about spot on. These are the same people that rushed through the main story in 6 hours going in full guns blazing because "lulz CoD" and then sit here and ruin the game for people just trying to complete their weekly OP. I don't even want to do Spec OPs with these people and I have no idea why it's required weekly. Let people that want to play multiplayer have their own mode, that's cool. But don't force me, as a single player within a single player game, to do these missions every week with people that have no idea what they're doing.
I have no experienced a more bs quest/mission in the entirely of gaming ever. Whoever created this needs to be fired.
@agenderdyke97 aren't yall like 15 hours away?
@latenitedelight You could try to actually enjoy the RPG elements of a genre that sadly hasn't seen much love in a very long time. I understand that most people want to grab the biggest gun and blow everyone's head off, but taking your time and exploring the map while trying different playstyles is actually a rewarding experience.
@sofajockey I agree, which is why it really doesn't bother me, though I'd still like some control over how we actually look in game. It's not like it's a deal breaker or anything, Assassin's Creed has been able to do this extremely well in my opinion, especially with characters like Kassandra.
I'm kinda bummed that we can't change the hair styles or beards as we could in Far Cry 5. I know that we have set protagonists again, kinda like Assassin's Creed, and that it would take a lot more development time to implement something like this, but it's still kinda sad. I guess that trade off is that we have an actual personality with each gender, unlike Far Cry 5. Still, I hope to see even something bare bones make it in the game post launch.
