Just start the Game and wait for a bit.
The Server do have some hiccup and may not response; like with the Release of AC:Odyssey someone statet here.
With the first start some "Redistributable/Runtimes" will be loaded/installed, so it my take a while when the Servers aren't responsing or your Hardware is kinda "slow"
If your OS is Windows, close the Game and navigate to
C:\Users\*Your Name*\Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla
, open ACValhalla.ini with a Texteditor (Notepad++) and change the following Line for Fullscreen and save it
1 -> Window
2 -> Borderless Window
3 -> Fullscreen
maybe because you dont have a dGPU....
igdumdim64.dll is related to Intel HD Graphics -> Intel CPU integrated graphic Chip
Even in a case where you have a dGPU, but without a DX12 FL12_0 support, your CPU integraded Graphicchip won't help you to be able to play ACV
Feel free to post your dGPU Name+Model for further Support.

Stuck at the splashscreen trying to start AC Valhalla? Maybe you're trying to start the Game as Administrator. DON'T
Remove the "Run Program as Administrator" Flag from the Game.exe
Navigate to ACV Installation folder, right-click "ACValhalla.exe", open "Properties", one card to the right "Compatibility" and remove the flag of "Run Program as Administrator" -> click OK
If there wasn't a Flag, i am sorry, you still may be unable to start the Game
if you had that flag, are you able to start the Game now? Leave your Feedback...

You didn't even mentioned youre not using a PC ones, nor setting up Tags, nor you have searched for existing Topics with your Problem

another Bugreport from me.
While FPS is capped to X (30, 60, 120, 144) the Menu is running at 91 FPS.
The Main Menu (with Save, Load etc) isn't affected, only that Menu where Inventory and such is located.

I play on the PC and have the problem that my Xbox Elite 2 controller is repeatedly disconnected and reconnected according to the overlay. So far, the problem only occurs with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The period between disconnect and reconnect is not noticeable, but there is a massive lag in the game per connect message from the overlay.
Does anyone have any tips?
@dontonn Hey there! Not a fix I know, but does this happen at all when you are connected via cable?
Please try verifying your game files and testing the game again.
Your Problem is related to my Bug report. Everytime your Gamepad is disconnecting the Inputmode is switching to K&M which causes the "lag"
