Update:

It seems this is not an issue caused by the update of Far Cry 6 but the latest update of Ubisoft Connect.
I've tried Fay Cry New Dawn and it has the same Black Screen Crash!

Please raise the issue to the Ubisoft Connect Team! (Why changing the Uplay name?)

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, I tried disabling the overlay and it did resolve the issue.
It's not the notification options. I was mistaken.

I encountered the same issue since 15th December. Suddenly all Core and Time-Limited challenges and Statistics are not updating/counting/registering.
E.g.
I already acquired 5 resolver weapons but the challenge/stats count is 4.
This issue not occurring to any specific challenge or stats, but ALL.
It's a systemic issue of the statistic system of Ubisoft Connect. I fear it will permanently prevent certain challenges that requires finishing all content of certain type from completion!



Meanwhile my loading screen turns into this one again. I'm not sure if these two issues are connected or not.

Actually none of the challenges and stats are updating for me!
Either FC6 or Ubisoft Connect is broken!

The same problem here manifested in:

• Instant crash after clicking Play
• Silent crash after the starting splash screen before entering the Fullscreen game
• Crash after launching the game and seeing the Black screen

I seriously hope this is the last game developed with Dunia.
