I was getting constant crashes at different places and the only thing that helped me so far is to cap the game's FPS to 70 using the Nvidia Control Panel (AMD users can try it on AMD Control Panel); been playing it for several hours: exploring, raiding and completing quests with no issues.
Note: I don't limit the FPS within the game settings as it doesn't prevent crashing and causes significant lag. I'm playing it on ASUS 4K 144 Hz with RTX 3090.
Let me know if it helped you!
@hunterr12 I'm having the crashes in Melbourne raid too since the last update. In general, it has started in other places as well. Ubisoft fix your game!
This new update 1.4.0 seems to have caused texture flickering. I'm using RTX 3090. Anyone else having this issue? What the heck is Ubisoft doing... causing more problems!?
@h4lcony thank you, turning off the Nvidia sharpening filter fixed it. It would be nice to use it again when the glitch has been resolved properly.

@r00bert29 What is the second option you unchecked besides accelerated Hardware GPU scheduling? Thanks.
