@tlenzen I am answering my own post with the solution and a request to improve please.

Indeed did I have enough plantains, but not enough Fish Oil. The warning triangle is not placed very well, in this case the Fish Oil triangle
looks like it belongs to plantains. Surely if I had it not on the eyes and I would have properly check it would have not come this post. Only
realized it when I had a similar issue on another product,

I am sorry, but if UBISOFT should read this post, perhaps it could be fix in one of the cosmetic fixes releases.

Hello ,
I am either to stupid, missing something, I discovered a bug (YAY) or all of the above.
I am have established a second Fried Plantain Factory, the first one works as expected the new one does not.
It seem to be missing Plantains as input even so the stock levels are at 150, I have moved the Factory around, recreated it always the same issue.
On the second Island I have is everything working fine, I do not what else I could do. Happy to provide screenshots etc everything to put out of my misery.

yeah that is what I am already doing, finding Archibald Blake and buy everything steel as I can but it is just often to late.

Yes I loaded today a save from before the initial update and that did load OK and all seems to be as it should be.
So this is a save after the new DLC 'The High Life' and before the initial 500MBish update followed yesterday by the 2GBish update.

I have another question where I can I ask about Game Play? i.e. why something is the way it is etc ...

I hope I got this right, the info is from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\Version.txt" could not get it from the bottom right hand corner as it had already downloaded a new update.
VERSION according to the Version.txt = 10582

Need anything else just ask.

Moin, I apologise upfront if this the wrong place for this question. But this something that drives me mad. 1) Game started in Sandbox Expert Mode no modification to the settings 2) Selction of Island 3) Building of community and exploring unexplored 4) Earmarking of potential additional islands 5) Continue to build community till possible to product steel or purchase steel to have enough material to inhabit additional island. -- And now it comes considering that all 4 players (3 Computer & 1 Dummy(me)) started at the same time and nobody has at this point steel or steel manufacturing facilities have two of the computer operated competitors already the best possible islands inhabited.

How is this possible? What am I missing here? This renders the game already useless only minutes into the game. I would greatly appreciate if somebody had an answer or suggestion ..
