@xDeathkill77x is 100% correct.
Despite the attempts to label those who do it as “cheaters” and try to have them punished, it has been said that it is a legit farming method from the devs.
I believe the phrase “sorry not sorry” would apply here.
Well congrats to all you no fun, play my way, I hate it so it shouldn't exist for anyone even though I'm not forced to use it jackwagons.I hope you all have a bad day. But i know you won't, cause you take joy in ruining other player's fun. Plus, now you can go back to YOUR meta, boring stale builds we've all been using for 2 years, while the rest of us turn the game off after we're done with the expertise grind, which should be a couple more weeks for me.
Not the first time when something suddenly becomes "Not Intended" after enough cries from player base.
2 excellent posts.
The crybabies have won. This build was of no consequence to those of you how thought it needed a nerf. You simply had the option to not run it and kick those from your group who did, or leave an instance where someone was wearing it. Instead you all had to cry about how strong it was, and now this nerf has happened. A PvE nerf in a power fantasy game. Shame.
At SHD 5,7XX, I've grown tired of other builds in this game and this set brought back the fun. It brought me and LOTS of others back from other games, and with this nerf I guess I will have more time on my hands to go grind the new BF2042 season pass, and get back to my DRG grind because I have actually lost some interest in Division 2 because of it.
I'll never understand this concept of giving the rewards of those who actually play the game more away for free for "new" players.
Stop your futile resistance and give up already. It is useless.
You must also be a big fan of the Borg on Star Trek TNG. Your posts are gold for comedy. Go play the game, stop worrying about me and what I do, it has ZERO effect on you or your game rather I do or don't farm floor 10. Just like everyone else, it doesn't have ANY effect on you. Your feeble attempt to publicly shame me is laughable at best for something that apparently ONLY you are campaigning for.
I'm just happy that I can rock a Memento, a piece of Grupo, and still tack on another piece with 36% CHD. Pretty cool outside the box concept given the current gear in the game.
Should have had an option for "Only PvP nerf".
Excited to see these results.
The HB gearset was a breath of fresh air to an old game without any meaningful additions after WONY.
This...
It got people talking and playing a game that many haven't played in a LONG time, and the retention was good because it made the game fun again. The game was literally dead, and no more updates were planned. This gear set brought it back to life, and that's HARD to do, and deserves a LOT of credit.
The people who are suffering from elitism and wanting others to not be as strong as them because they can farm the build in "40 minutes" need to come to grip with the fact that there will always be under-leveled people who are better than they are with lesser gear. Period. I've seen a SHD level 114 with a weak build who was better in the IH raid than some 1K+ SHD people with god-rolled builds we had back when it was new.
or did you fall for @TxDieselKid stirring the pot on (...) which kind has backfired because people rightly have commented Summit is boring and this exploit causes other issues lol
Your perception behind my intentions is completely wrong. Not only that, but the VERY overwhelming majority agreed that they do not want to see anything changed and do not feel it's an exploit (majority, not all, so stop cherry picking). The fact that this made it to the Trello board was news worthy. That's it. Period. I felt those in the community who do not pay as close attention and do not partisipate on this forum might find that to be interesting.
Your childish antics and demeanour won't wash over here so let me help you dig your own grave.
Please refrain from personal insults, as I have not, and would not do that to you. I generally respect your opinion on the game, and even complimented your PTS feedback post. No grave to dig.
Your Youtube chums...
Hardcore eyeroll. I've never been in a party with any of them, or played with any of them outside of Kongstyle who I have only played with twice, and he is more of a streamer than a youtube'er.
I suspect you are probably one of those people who charge for running an exploit and are losing income otherwise I cannot see why you are so irate or have an irrational state of mind especially since that was your first ever forum post. So stop being selfish and short sighted. Exploits eventually get fixed,
I have never once charged for anything in running new people though content. I dropped a fully God rolled EB a few weeks back in a random LFG raid I joined where I didn't know anyone, and haven't spoken to any of them since (didn't expect to either). I have actively got groups together to run people though DH and IH to get them the raid exclusives for free. So no, not charging for anything.
if you are so passionate about the game how about partaking or creating discussions on how to improve the long term replayability of Division rather than crying about an exploit whether it be PVP or PVE getting fixed because it ruins your "fun"
I have. Many times. Many of those posts are on the old forums before the switch over a year ago (or whenever it happened).
I still don't understand why you're so upset about this topic, especially when it was shown that convoy's with all directives have an XP glitch also.
the communities feeling or the forums rather do not outweight litteral fact.
the side saying HB is OP is stating Facts...
Why are your feelings considered "facts"?
@Noobplayerpt So I have not had this issue in a few months. Whatever it was they fixed it.
TL;DR. You're a hypocrite. Putting raid exotics in DZ is bad bc of multiple reasons. Stop complaining about not having a raid reward if you can't be bothered to raid. No I'm not a 24/7 raider.
This has always been my view as well, and I still mostly stand by it. So long as the game is getting new content, I'm against unlocking them. Once the game goes on EOL status from an updating standpoint, I am ok with them being available in the DZ.
The system to get groups going is flawed, the concept of 8-man raid with no MM options is flawed. You will see it one day.
I can only speak from the XBox perspective, but the LFG on XB is pretty dang good for this. I've ran both DH and IH with many groups of people that I never talked to again. A few of them I made friends with and have ran with again. It's a pretty nifty thing they got going for them on XB. It's all done right there on the XB dashboard and makes finding groups super easy, no discord, no forums, etc.
It's pretty much assumed and expected at this point that if you enter the DZ, you're there only for PvP. There are those who like to run and gather exo components also, but pretty much strictly PvP at this point.
From my experience, too many players in Heroic expect/want to be carried or think they are better/have a better build than they do. I can't MM for a Heroic run without there being at least 2-3 off the wall "that is not really a build" type players joining.
If I inspect you only to find you're SHD is <100, and you're running 2pc 5.11, 1pc Golan (with no way to proc a status), 2pc Murakami and a R&K with a Tardigrade, ....I'm dropping. This seems to be FAR too common of an occurrence for me.
Let the kids have fun. If they/we want to use a skill build so be it. I think it's great the skills get the kill to proc it.
@suschunga
Nonsense. Plenty of people refused to go in the DZ before the recent changes, and plenty of people still refuse to go in now.
Because the loot is (still) trash, nothing rewarding in there.
Everything I found there had mid rolled attributes, (at Max that is).
If it wasn't mid, it was always lower rolls.
Not very inviting to get ganked for...
If the rolls on the attributes are always 75% or higher, people will go in more often.
I farmed for Emperor's Kneepads, The Gift and The Rock&Roll (found other items while farming for these 4)
But all had to be optimizmsed from around:
[_______l_____________________]
[____________l________________]
[_________l___________________]
If you get shot in the back for those kind of attributes, people stay away.
[_________________________l___]
[_______________________l_____]
[_____________________l_______]
If the rolls are like this or maxed, people will keep farming for stuff.
Implementing your suggestions would just return to the previous state - empty DZ servers.
If they buffed the rewards on everything, his ideas will likely fill the DZ's.
DZ credits/resources
- 5 for deconstructing a High-End item.
- 10 for deconstructing a Gearset item.
- 15 for deconstructing a Named item.
- 25 for deconstructing a Exotic item.
- 5 for those little black boxes you can loot.
- 5-10 for every killed boss (depending on what difficulty the Landmark is)
- 25 for opening a Supply Drop Crate
- 5 for killing a (Rogue) agent. (stolen or just as a kill drop?)
Supply Drops
- More Bosses
- Loot (last time I opened one I only got a armor kit)
- Big chance of Exotic items/components
Exotics
- More Exotic variations, not just the Pestilence.
- 5 Exotic components from Landmark Crates (when drops).
Landmark Changes
- Landmarks should have multiple bosses.
(Minimum 3, maximum 12 Bosses)
- All Bosses come out after the Landmark is (soft) cleared.
(Spawn in from different doors)
- 3 More Bosses come out if another person/team runs in the area (Max 12 Bosses in the field).
(Yes 1 full team can exploit this to get 12 bosses).
Hats off to you for getting it. As someone who spends plenty of time in the DZ these are all FANTASTIC suggestions (I deleted some I didn't agree with fully).
The whole purpose of running landmarks is to farm gear/materials. If the rolls on gear are junk (like they are now) then that takes that out of the reasons for people to go in.
The inherent risk of PVP, rather invited or not, should elevate the quality of the loot above the NPC difficulty. If the NPC‘s are heroic, or even heroic+ as I would like to see (a small increase above heroic but not legendary) then the quality of the loot should be even better given the dangers and risk of PVP.
I don’t like the idea of the 24 hour rogue clock, but I do think once you flag up, it should be a minimum of five minutes, and you’re highlighted on the map the entire time just like manhunts are. Additionally, I think NPC’s should have a stronger agro to rogues/manhunts than non-rogue agents.
I would also like to see NPC rogues/hunters on extractions. Not the ultra-tank Hunters in Countdown, but more along the lines of Div 1 in Underground. Again, they agro on agent rogues more than non-agent rouges but that would create some very interesting interactions.
A buddy and I were running around Manning Zoo the other night and noticed an area that could VERY easily be a conflict map. Super cool terrain shifts, and choke points. Maybe not as asym as the conflict maps are, but no obvious example when talking though it. That lead us to notice areas in Tidal Basen, and other maps we were running.
So much opportunity for Conflict if they added some of those areas, and made some good PvP balancing changes.
@GnarlyAtol1793 It's a whole lot of things, not just this one update.
LOL at this whole thread! Literally.
