Rainbow Six Extraction Patch Notes - Friday January 28
Firstly, we would like to thank all of the players who have contributed to making the Rainbow Six Extraction community such a welcoming place and encourage you all to invite 2 of your friends to try the game when the Buddy Pass releases on Thursday January 27.
Below you will find the details of our first patch, going live on Friday January 28, which will address some key issues players were encountering.
• Fixed a crash that occurred on Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X when the language was set to Arabic
• Fixed a bug where displayed prices for REACT Credits appeared incorrectly in multiple local stores.
• You are now able to connect to the servers if you are set as Invisible in Ubisoft Connect.
• Fixed a bug where teammate revives did not work.
• HDR is now functional on PC AMD GPUs.
• Fixed certain matchmaking errors.
• General stability fixes.
@ts-query Nothing to share on that front at the moment unfortunately.
Rainbow Six Extraction and Rainbow Six Siege are two separate games and will not share any content such as R6 Credits or Cosmetics at the moment. For features such as Cross Progression to be enable between 2 titles, both titles need to be built from the ground up with this feature in mind. Rainbow Six Siege is a 6 year old game and Cross Play and Cross Progression were barely even concepts in 2015. Implementing these features after the fact is EXTREMELY difficult to do.
I can also ensure you that you have not seen all the content the game has to offer yet.

Thanks for the feedback! We'll look into it and see if we can improve the readability of the links!

@du22
No, unless something changes.
@schriefer1978
You cannot upgrade to the deluxe version.
If you pre-ordered AFTER the price-drop you should contact the customer support of whichever store front you pre-ordered on and explain that you would like to cancel your pre-order so you can't re-order the deluxe edition instead.
@f-u-n101
You can play the game solo, as a duo, or as a trio.
You will be able to turn squad fill on or off depending on whether you'd like a third or not as well.
The difficulty will scale depending on the number of players as well.
Also note that the Maelstrom and Assignment game modes require 3 players so you will need a pre-made squad or use matchmaking.
@gai_the_guy
The Orbital Decay Bundle is a reward for pre-ordering Rainbow Six Extraction that will only be granted in Rainbow Six Extraction itself once the game releases.
This Bundle is not available in Rainbow Six Siege.
There is another bundle called the United Front Bundle which involves rewards for both Rainbow Six Extraction and Rainbow Six Siege and requires you to launch both Extraction and Siege on the SAME Ubisoft Connect account to receive the rewards for both games.
@ollog10 Hey!
You're right to say the Buddy Pass will be cross-platform, meaning you'll be able to play with your friends, regardless of platform.
The regular game itself will also support full cross-play and cross-progression meaning you can play the game with anyone on any of the supported platforms and your progress is also carried across platforms. You can read more details about it HERE.
If you are playing on PC, you will be able to plug in a controller to play but at this stage I cannot say what sort of official support controllers on PC will receive, other than you can do it.
Thanks a million
AJ
